I haven't searched in a very long time. Fastest I had found was 1 Gbps for both Spectrum and FiOS (if you're in an area that even has it). Business class had the same max speeds but a different upload/download split. I think there are a couple data centers in the area that probably have higher speeds if you're looking to rack a server somewhere and don't actually need the access on your residence.
I don't think there's a lot of residential fiber in the city of Albany. I remember seeing a purported map of lines in the area and they essentially existed to hook up major institutions in the area: the University, Hospitals, State Office Complexes.

Put a greenhouse over it.

I love mine, but if I could go back in time I'd probably lean towards something with hybrid/electric options. If money were no option, I might look at a Rivian if I was still looking for a bed.

Have you not made it to Taiwan Noodle for some stewed pigs feet and assorted dumplings?

Left side of the first page of your bill should have a graph of how much you're using monthly. The second page in the same area should include table of the actual monthly values. That's what you'll want to compare to see if you're using more/less than others, or if anything you change is having an impact on your own results.
Biggest usage items are going to be things with compressors, pumps, or heating elements: - electric heat if you have it - electric water heater - ACs - dehumidifiers - refrigerator / freezer - electric dryer - electric stove /oven if you cook a lot
It's probably not going to be home electronics in standby mode, but you never know untill you test.
If you want to try and track down what's using power, theres a device called a kill-a-watt that tells you how much power the thing(s) plugged into it use over time. There are things you can install at your breaker but you may find that to be overkill. The natgrid site under usage has a real-time monitoring option that lets you see how much power you're using in 15 minute intervals so you can see if your usage is fairly constant, and when things spike. I get a spike first thing in the AM when the toaster, electric kettle, and coffee maker all get started in quick succession. I get spikes in the evening when I make dinner or do laundry. Smaller usage but on more frequent intervals seem to relate to the fridge kicking on. It may be time for a new one.

I have an elementary teacher friend in her mid/late 20s in the process of buying a condo. She's been solo living for at least a couple years now. If you are frugal and can find an affordable apartment, and not eating/drinking out on a regular basis, it should be doable on a teacher's salary.
I recently audited my monthly expenses. I have $3760/mo in regularly scheduled bills which includes $1k into savings/investing. It also includes car insurance but doesn't include food & gas or any extra car maintenance. It also includes things that I could cut if I had to(multiple streaming services, newspaper, etc). If you find a place around/under $1700/mo that you like and doesn't have reduculous heating costs in the winter, things may be tight but doable @ low $50k.

I don't want the congestion of a more populated area. I don't want the lack of access to things of a less populated area. I prefer mild weather but would rather some snow over boiling summers. I don't love or hate Albany; it feels perfectly average. I was fortunate enough to makes some close friends a couple years back. Socializing helps, at least it does for me as a non-recluse. I'm sure there are better places to live, but I'm doing OK and don't currently feel a need to start over again somewhere else.

To be fair some of the most jacked guys I've seen are supply clerks.

Since they've announced the SC is discontinuing, I've been reading resale value is tanking. You may be able to get a deal on a slightly used one.
I love mine, but I think I'd only recommend it to people who regularly need the bed and find that it's not too small.

Or just do a Google image search on it if they're unavailable.

Balance * (apr / 12) = Monthly Interest Balance = Monthly Interest / (apr / 12) Balance = $50 / (0.023 / 12)
Balance = $26,086.96 to get $50/mo in interest @ 2.3% APR

Have you checked with the town? Albany takes large items on trash day if you call and warn them ahead of time.

I was going to say that maybe you could tarp-tent easier using some bed rails. But there's still nowhere to secure the things around the cab area to keep rain from running in. May want to individually bag/tarp them if you can find some kind of rubbermaid bin they that they could fit in.

Even compared to outlaying areas, I think the Capital Region fares better. I wonder if it's geography and being at an intersection of two river valleys.

Snow isn't terrible around here. I bought a snow blower a couple year back to clear out a double wide driveway and help aging neighbors. There's rarely enough accumulation for me to break it out. There have been years where it never leaves the garage.

I got some translucent, dark smokey grey ones as a gift. From Amazon, not a name brand, adhesive. I like them over the solid colors. From the outside they don't look very different from a distance, but I don't like how the solid ones look from the inside. But looks are subjective.

As someone who knows a couple dialects pretty well who sometimes uses AI to figure out equivalents/differences when porting over to other DB flavors/versions, I'm regularly presented SQL that is not syntactically valid for the targets I ask about.
I would say that I 95% write everything myself. I'm in an environment where I can't upload schema details, and even if I did, I would probably still have to document all the data anomalies I know I have to deal with before I could remotely consider generating sql from prompts. Pair that with an editor that has templating and auto-complete, I can churn out reliable SQL faster. Stuff that has to be repeated is in views, functions/procedures, materialized in some way, etc.

Ooh la la! I may have to try this.

I've read that if you want to do that, you'll probably want some Velcro straps to secure it in case you're unlucky enough to find yourself in a rollover accident and not wanting to risk a flying jack to the head.

Those windows look like mouths.

Producing data at the wrong granularity and then hiding it with distinct is bad. It isn't free and has to be sorted. Maybe you're working with a small enough data set that it isn't an issue?
If you can think of a straight forward scenario where it will produce the wrong results, then it's wrong.
