It's a scam that's just using the open source AzerothCore project that is recreating CoA. Their failure to disclose this is disgraceful to the developers contributing to that open source project. Hopefully a respectful server honest enough to disclose that will come along.

I assume you're not involved in this, so I'll just gracefully say that you have none of the relevant details and are in no way privy to any of this. Maybe you don't understand how intellectual property works, but I do. I know what intellectual property I own, and I'm willing to defend my rights in U.S. federal court, just as any reasonable person would when someone believes they're above the law and can simply take another person's code and use it for their own financial gain without authorization nor license.

Not how it works. Not a public repo either. I will use every legal remedy available to protect my intellectual property and I suggest everyone else do the same.

I am not in a settlement with Blizzard. I have not and never will reliqunish ownership over my intellectual property to be used in a way that I did not authorize. I don't who you are, you certainly didn't get close to me at Ascension and you don't have a license to use my intellectual property and the Cease and Desist was simply a courtesy.

If you really are in contact with anyone from Ascension you can let them know that Glader (HelloKitty on Github) does not authorize their usage of my intellectual property and I made sure to PGP sign many of my commits at Ascension and this will be easy to prove if you tamper with the repositories in any way to try to mask this.

Since you say you're in communication with these parties or collaborating, and your post is to advertise their usage of my unlicensed intellectual property then consider this message as constituting a formal notice that litigation concerning this matter is reasonably anticipated. You are requested to preserve all potentially relevant evidence, including messages, emails, account records, logs, files, documents, photographs, videos, metadata, backups, and other electronically stored information relating to this matter. Please suspend any automatic deletion, modification, or destruction of potentially relevant information.

I recommend whoever you or they are Cease and Desist because you don't have license to use, extend, create deriatives of or otherwise the code I commited to Ascension Core (Ascension.Source) nor the Ascension Extensions DLL that I created and developed. I will take every legal action possible and available to remedy this if needed.

Blizzard sends people to your door too, usually if they can track you down after identifying you as being involved in operating any large WoW private server. This is typical for a big company. But you can simply make a fake video it's true. But PIs being hired by large gaming companies, even indirectly by law firms who work with them as a client, is very real.

Yea, people think there isn't a liability helping spread copyright infringing material but there is. It's just usually nobody bothers to sue.

I mean Kane Pixel's Backrooms videos were the pinnacle of indie Backrooms content. All of these extra "levels" feel just tacked on to the original Backrooms concept.

The PSO projects I've worked on have never accepted donations. Which I'm glad it hadn't ever in the past as it's taken a bit too long to create something worth distributing. But very happy with the current project and will make a video once there is something ready to distribute and test.

I do find this to be one of the aspects of Runescape I never liked. I prefer World of Warcraft's approach to it where it cannot swap in combat for almost every slot but for Runescape if that were adopted, weapons would have to be included otherwise only hybrid armor would probably be viable in a lot of places and I don't like the weird hybrid armor on Runescape 3.
