Look awesome, backing it now!

I am not 100% on this, but I do not think that Ragosts end of tuen trigger will be doubled.
Dr crushers own second ability is somethat that will be doubled, but ragosts trigger is not directly triggered by the lifegain, its more of a condition that gets checked.

Each of the tokens sees each other when they enter, so its 20*21 damage (20tokens+the gold dragon).
GoingToSimbabwe
Yes but hows that related to the question
GoingToSimbabwe
I dont even know what the point is as even in commander noone is forced to have only their commander as legendary..
GoingToSimbabwe
Thats not actually the reason for that.
The reason is that stars flicker because we can only, even with the best telescopes we have, perceive them as point sources of light and our atmosphere distorts that light source.
Planets on the other hand still are subject to the atmospheric distortions, but because they are much nearer and bigger in the sky (relatively speaking), we do not noticed that distortion.

Kind of, i find it way easier to have them in a different sleeve. I have yet to encounter the „shuffle commander into lib“ scenario, but I have had the „opps i shuffled my commander into the liv accidently“ scenario quite some times.
GoingToSimbabwe
Just desleeve a card from your yard or a land you have on the field to resleeve your commander when that happens and be done with it. Its not that deep.

Dunno, maybe use vba or powerquery to pull the data from changing input files into the same table in the same dashboard workbook and just refresh your visuals. This sounds like excel+some of the „advanced“ features should be enough.
GoingToSimbabwe
Thats great news!

Just to be clear here, Ghostly prison and propaganda do not protect the walkers, only the player.

Only mana abilities that move a card to or from the library in some way, like p.e. [[Millikin]].
But i think the change was that those are no longer mana abilities. So MA still dont use the stack.
GoingToSimbabwe
I agree it reads quite terrible, but then again, i feel like a rather easy to follow gameplan (make token, polymorph, get funny big dude without many complicated cards) and a lower powerlevel is quite good as a precon. This seems like a true bracket 2 deck and will probably play fairly against other b2 decks piloted by new-ish players.
I will probably get it, play once and then strip it for parts or maybe swap in some of the other funky big „payoffs“ i have laying around and never play.
GoingToSimbabwe
Should not, when you cast it the card is no longer in the GY, but on the stack.

No the reason is that having non-EDH EDH tournaments have so many points in which they can lead to feels bad moments.
This starts by the inherent advantage seat 1 has over the other seats, touches the relatively wishy washy bracket definitions, moves over to the clashing mentality between spikes and timmies, passes by the problem of king-making and collusion between friends and goes to situations like these.
Sure you can run EDH tournaments with prizing, but EDHs rulesets and casual background really clashes with competitive settings.
Just look at how many games are forced into draws in cEDH tournaments.
GoingToSimbabwe
I have not had such a situation and have never played in a competitive EDH event (paying and entry fee and having packs on the line definitely makes this s competitive event).
That being said, this is on the shop imo. It is well known that, at least in cEDH tournaments something around 50% of games end in a draw.
Usually that is due to how tournaments are set up over multiple rounds with points being gained for wins (3 i think) and draws (1 point). Since in EDH there is only 1 winner, this heavily incentivizes the 3 other players to force a draw if the situation arises that only 1 player will be able to win. This way the 3 non-winning guys still get a point instead of 0.
The event you are describing however sound like a „1 round and thats it/ each pod has its own prize pool“-kind of event. I would expect the shop to have a policy in place that either shares the prize (i.e. if the winner wouldve gotten 4 packs, now everyone gets one pack) or something else (idc, rolling a die seems fine as well imo).
As for the dude forcing the draw - probably kind of a dick move, but also maybe fine if they approached the event more casually and just thought it would be a fun way to end the game.
Imo EDH tournaments which are not explicitly cEDH (and then even those) are just inherently flawed and will lead to bad feelings. I can’t recount how often i read stories here about bad situations in competitive EDH settings.

Thanks! I will contact them once my tcg budget refreshes and i cant find any beta anywhere.
GoingToSimbabwe
Hey wheres your store located and do you have a webshop?
Ive been googling around as well and can hardly find beta boxes either (found AL though).

Seconding what everyone else here states. You will probably not have fun with those restrictions. Pauper is more or less as cutthroat as mondern (while being more value focused/grindy).
Homebrews from recent commons will not cut it and will just get you dumpstered by any deck that is even meta-adjacent.
What you might want to find is a playgroup of likeminded people going for that „kitchentable magic feeling“ (as in: only Homebrews, no meta decks, apply restrictions as wanted).
GoingToSimbabwe
I feel like this is a communication and expectation problem more than anything else.
The brackets are a general guideline not hard rules. If i am playing stax, i should be well aware of the fact that its in all the other players best interest to take me out asap and should not be salty if i am taking out early on. Its either them taking me out and me not playing much, or them letting me set up and them not playing much.
Its the same problem with battlecruiser strategies facing aggro strategies and then complaining that they are attacked early. Realistically thats the aggro decks only ways to win. If the battlecruiser is left unchecked they just vomit out unsolveable boards at some point and win from there.
I had this discussion quite often with new-ist players playing p.e. the Temur Roar precon and me trying to kill them/disrupt them early on. Sure, i will let you play out some dragons and be threatening, but i will kill your commander the second it comes out if i can help it or the game just spirals out of control in your favor.
Long ramble, sorry.
Tldr: slow decks that have inevitability should expect to draw early aggression and be build to deal with that or falter. Anything else is just „you guys are not allowed to play so i can enjoy dominating“.

They think that being tapped is a copyable characteristic, which it is not.
If it where, then the copies would be tapped due to being created from a tapped forest, which is what OP is thinking.

Keine Sorge die CDU wird die AFD natürlich mäßigen und kontrollieren. Da kann nix schiefgehen!
