I spoke to the shop foreman at my local lexus dealer and he said the TX is not good for anyone with high standards for build quality.

I had an LC coupe so that could be part of it. With the LC, I worried about it more vs the SC being a cheap used car I can just enjoy and park anywhere without worry. I hated only having a fixed glass roof in the LC, the convertible SC just brings me so much more joy. Lastly, I find the SC seats much more comfortable. I was not a fan of the heavily bolstered sports seats in the LC. I wish it was a bit more luxury than sport, but that's just me. Both are great cars and totally different!

I had an LC a few years ago and now have an SC as a fun car. I much prefer the SC.

Thank you. Is that assuming I put new tires and fix CEL?

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic haha. Just trying to get an honest take on what people would pay for it, knowing it's a pre-facelift model and has a couple items to work through.

I'm thinking I would list it for $15k and see if I get any bites.

No the Tampa area

Thanks, yeah I'm really enjoying it! Super mint.

beautiful car

We will see! I am really liking it ◡̈

This car has the optional 17 inch chrome wheels, so tires are 255/55/17

Gold_Interaction_528

That’s why I’m not sure about fixing it. Would I get more money without CEL on? Vs someone being okay knowing what it is etc

Gold_Interaction_528

Yes I watch some of his stuff. This car drives perfectly so not sure what the problem actually is.

Gold_Interaction_528

Good to know. Guess I’ll have to find someone to troubleshoot. The challenge is knowing when someone is being honest vs trying to upsell or jump to conclusions.

Gold_Interaction_528

I think that’s a little high, no?

Gold_Interaction_528

Thanks. I’m not mechanical at all but trying to learn my way around. I also have an SC 430 and have taught myself a bit about things like door panels, refoaming speakers, etc but not mechanical stuff.

Gold_Interaction_528

That’s what I’m thinking. Only thing is which tires are the best balance of keeping a profit margin but still being a quality tire that people will want to keep on.

Gold_Interaction_528

That was my thought too but this is the note from lexus service records recently. The car drives fine. “Will need bank 1 cat to remedy concern”

I had no interest in it until I sat in one on the showroom floor a few days ago. It was white with palomino. Interior looks bland in photos but in person everything feels so lux and solid that it actually makes the other models feel dated already. I think it’s going to grow on people.

When you go to activate the perk in Chase, it will walk you through/prompt you to connect your apple account. Here's what the Chase site says: "Activate your benefit by linking your Apple ID to receive a complimentary Apple TV subscription. For users on Apple devices (iPhone or iPad), your benefit will be automatically linked to the Apple ID you use to sign in to your device. To use an alternate Apple ID, activate from your Chase account on desktop."

Yup! Exactly what I did.
