Thank you. Gosh, what is this post? I am a stay at home mom and if there’s any matriarchal space in this world it’s my house. My husband luckily makes good enough money so I can stay home and care for my children freely but he also is a true partner in life. He does as much if not more around the house as I do. I am free to live my life how I want to. I don’t need to spend it at a job with anyone telling me what to do. I work out every day, get massages often, sit and watch tv when I want, meet friends for lunch, whatever I feel like doing.

We have three kids and we’re raising them to love and respect women. How? By example. Their father loves me and we are equals. He credits me with his success in his career because behind the scenes I have driven many moves he’s made. If the boys ever say anything about him being the bread winner his response is that he makes all of the money for me so they should ask me if they want something because it’s my money. My youngest 2 come up to me to ask something by starting it with, “you’re the boss right mommy?” Which I’m not, we’re equals but he tells the boys that.

I play a huge roll in not only my immediate family but my extended one. My sister lives down the street from me and I also take care of her kids before and after school so she can work. She’s the higher earner in her family and without me her life would be a lot harder.

I saw him live earlier this year and the sound in the arena was so bad. The bass was too loud and it made the whole show uncomfortable. Makes me wonder if he just doesn’t have a good sound engineer on his team. Although you’d think the Super Bowl people would have handled that.

Wait, that’s not red. That’s a warm level 7 brown. I’m a colorist and if you came in asking for red hair I’d never guess you wanted it that color. I just want to make sure you get your terminology right so you don’t regret your choice. It looks very pretty on you but so does the blonde.

This happened to me in my 20’s (20 years ago) and I never spoke to that friend again. This post has me thinking about it all over again. I was so sad because I considered the guy one of my best friends. We had known each other since kindergarten. We went to different universities but hung out every summer all summer long. I think his wife was maybe jealous of me, or maybe he was into me and I was oblivious. Either way, it became obvious that our friendship wasn’t the friendship I thought it was and that hurt. He’s one of a few guys from that time of my life that has had me value my female friendships so much more.

That’s not true. My husband is a white Latino, not native at all, 99% Portuguese and Spanish decent, and he was very discriminated against in Germany and much much less so in the U.S. where he’s been able to rise the ranks of his company very quickly. In Germany he wouldn’t have ever been able to get the promotions he did in the U.S. We loved living in Germany but it was a weird experience. Going through the airports in Europe was a completely different experience when I traveled with him as when I traveled alone. It was eye opening.

Your hair is so short, fry away. I’m half kidding but I’m professional, your hair will be fine if you just leave the bleach longer. I’d worry more if your hair was longer. Then tone with something violet/blue hue.

This is definitely a color for winters. Make sure you buy a color depositing conditioner to use once or twice a week to keep the color vibrant. Overtone is one brand that I know of. Many professional color lines have these too.

My son has eyes very similar. I think they’re green but people usually call them hazel. When he was younger I told him he has so many colors in his eyes and he started telling people he has “rainbow eyes” when they’d ask what his eye color was, which was often because his eyes are so pretty.

Same. I go over and read r/conservative all of the time to try to understand where they’re coming from. It’s obviously there though that most are fully entrenched in their bubble and don’t understand the opposing arguments at all. Not even a little bit. They just vilify everyone who doesn’t think like them assuming they’re unpatriotic, stupid, or evil. It’s a scary peep into their world.

You’re 100% a spring. That being said, I’m a red head too and always feel good in both black and white.

Here’s what it comes down to on policy. I disagreed with almost everything Trump did in office from dismantling women’s civil rights to appointing Betsy DeVos, a proponent of private and charter schools to lead public schools. I’m sure I won’t agree 100% with Harris’s policy but I know it will be more aligned with what I do agree with. And on top of not agreeing with Trump he did all of these things while demonizing anyone who didn’t agree with him. He fed the idea in my neighbors that we are enemies because we don’t agree.

What I’m saying is that most women don’t look for money, they are looking for traits. Those traits usually lead to higher earning potential.
