Tbh, she was a liar and a manipulator. Instead of paying the money for a hit she lied about her intentions then tries to rope you into it once you are invested. The guy didn't even really deserve it, either. Its a literal death race, shit h appens.

Yes, this is really just discussing the difference between a tactical asset(Smasher, V, Blackhand), vs a Strategic asset(Songbird. Alt, etc). 

Adam as a tactical asset is insane, though. Much of Cyberpunk is the lore behind characters, their story, legend, and fame. That can become something of a Strategic asset. Adam himself is a tactical asset, but his infamy is a strategic asset, in that people fear him enough to be deterred.

Fair. My store had a bad inventory this year, so its like a grand less than last year, but still like two paychecks so I can't complain too much.

Last year we actually got like 800 more than what the final amount was supposed to be. Apparently a lot of people in our Market complained and someone in home office reran the numbers and magically a new nugget of cash appeared in the check. We had better sales and inventory than previous years but saw less money.
