Seconding pineapple. I also add a tiny bit of coconut extract, so it's like a Pina colada!

When you were a kid, it WAS a legitimate career goal. Now it's all criminally underpaid adjuncts.

The exact opposite of this story is how we ended up with neighbors who are now friends for life. Moved into our first house when I was pregnant with out first child. We went out of town for a weekend for my baby shower. A bunch of people shipped stuff to my house instead. Our brand new neighbors saw the boxes start stacking up, so they pulled them over and stored them in their garage and left us a note. So nice, and they're now our "adopted" family.

"One, two, three, four, five? That's amazing. I've got the same combination on my luggage!"

Very, very concerning that the new publisher of the Washington Post is a former Wall Street Journal and Murdoch guy....

This. This. This. I want to play SF 3 so badly, but I do not have the knowledge or technology to deal with roms, or whatever needs to be done.

My husband had just bought a Forester before our last trip to Asheville so of course had to play "Count the Subies" while there. Would have been easier to count to non-Subarus.

Had to scroll way to far to find this comment.

We need to protect Harris at all costs.

Oddly enough, I was all set to vote for McCain in 2008 because he was on the Daily Show so much, back when I watched it regularly. He seemed so intelligent and genuine.

But...I could not let Sarah Palin be a heart beat away from being our next President.

Georgia checking in here. By the time we had primaries here in 2020, Biden had been all but confirmed as the candidate. I got no real say. Not a great system.

My husband went out to have some drinks with a friend one night. Picked a local sports bar he's never been to before. They were watching a game on one of the TVs. Owner comes out and turns on Tucker Carlson. My husband asks if the TV can be changed back to the game they were watching.

Owner says no. They paid their tab and left as quickly as they could and will never go back.

This happened to me when I played on one of the higher difficulties. Super, I think? I was not happy.

I assumed that was the whole reason they made the movie - because they could.

From what I've heard, technically a rainbow baby is one that was conceived while you should have still been pregnant with the lost baby. But, now people usually use the term any time after a loss.

I live in a red county in Georgia. But, on my street I have a gay couple, two lesbian couples, and two immigrant families. In the 2020 election, I put up Biden, Ossoff, and Warnock signs in my yard, partially to campaign for them, but mostly to show my neighbors that I'm an ally, and not just another white bigot like most of the people in our neighborhood.

I'm going to guess zero people. I'm left, pro-choice, have given birth, 2x college educated...and that never occured to me.

The lack of a better mithril weapon really does the Birdmen dirty.

The one kid has a shirt from Berry College, a private liberal arts school in NW Georgia. Tuition in 2002 was $20k a year. He's got plenty of money.
