My 2.5 was already tuned for 91. The stock ECU has wide timing table for multiple octane ratings. A lot of people don’t know that the 2.5 gains like 10hp and 15ft lbs with 91. It’s how you get the advertised power numbers. That tune is great when you run an aftermarket air intake even with 91 it will pull timing a little. With the extra fuel from the tune, timing isn’t pulled since the lean condition is fixed. No rev hang is nice. The tune is worth it if you run an intake and exhaust.

What kind of issues?
HankHowdy
What year and what’s does the fuel lid say?
HankHowdy
Change the oil 5k use vw 502 or 504, flush coolant every 5 years, service trans 40-60k bases on driving style, top tier 91 octane. 2014 RLine 87k. So far so good.
HankHowdy
I have 87k on my 14 RLine and so far it’s been good.
HankHowdy
What options are not available in the 2.5?
HankHowdy
that’s one difference between octane in the US.
HankHowdy
Not many have. It has pretty low viewership.
HankHowdy
That’s 87 octane in North America.

Why does it seem like most people of Reddit enjoy films that are not a commercial success?
HankHowdy
Why do people think reviews mean anything. Tickets sales and viewership. That’s where it counts and determines if more content will be made. So far the DCU has been a little bit lack luster in that regard, so I’m holding my breath.
HankHowdy
I don’t understand why people take their cars to dealers unless it’s for a warranty repair.
HankHowdy
About 20. Currently not in a rental though.
HankHowdy
I’m old. 🤣

This Tiguan is a NA market vehicle. Just buy a real vw next time. Is this 2.0 budak cycle motor a NA specific motor too?
HankHowdy
Wow. On my 4th. Sorry to hear that.
HankHowdy
This comment is insane. I have purchased many previous rental vehicles and have had great experiences. How many have you purchased?
HankHowdy
Swap port injected motor and Mitsubishi mirage, direct injected turbo motor swap with German car.
HankHowdy
Is this modded?
HankHowdy
Fuel comes into contact with the secondary air ports?
HankHowdy
How does good fuel help this situation?
HankHowdy
You just asked this, no?
HankHowdy
That’s because most dealers don’t use spec oil. They probably use 0w30 in everything to keep costs down. This has been covered many times.

Don’t use this stuff. Use brands that auto manufacturers use. Lemforder, TRW, Meyle, URO, Delphi, and many more.
