Nah, fair - that was honestly one of the first things I did since I got back and I'm maybe 4 Mastery shy of finishing out Pact Commander as it is (doing that now by catching all of the explorable Masteries that don't need an event).
Cheers, mate. I'll probably try and sort that and then retire my old Necro again... Not gonna delete them, 15+ year anniversary gifts are kind of fun. Though I suppose one final send-off before retirement is more in order...

Wouldn't that not matter if I'm not in HoT zones/areas? That's currently an issue I'm running into with SotO (did the introduction to get Weaponmaster Proficiency, which has been very helpful) where at the moment most of my time isn't spent in any areas where I can get XP for those tracks, and I'm capped on Central Tyria until I can get more Mastery Points (been distracted with Halloween instead).

Complicated question: Back before HoT launched, I had a Necromancer up to the finale of Victory or Death that I never got around to finishing. I took a long break, briefly came back for HoT, and have since only recently fully come back to do stuff. In that time, my aesthetics and general likes have drifted. So, I started a new Necromancer that I bumped to 80 that I like better visually then my original... but hasn't done any of the story.
Should I just push VoD for the Mastery point and kind of leave main story alone to move to other story content (Living World, HoT, SotO; Will get PoF eventually when budget permits), or just nose-to-grindstone the story one last time for all the marbles? I'd like to work on more Mastery tracks, gliding, Skyscale, etc. but it feels weird to leave things... somehow unfinished.
I can always go back and finish the story on my new Necro later, after all, but decision paralysis has me looped.

I mean, put a ribbon on it and tell anyone that asks that you're going regimental. Should clear it all up. Make it a BLUE one, and should be even more clear!

Bonus: Mostly sensible boots! J'approve.

Nothing to apologize for, really - good things are worth waiting for, and bigger projects are always tougher. And this one turned out AMAZING.

That is very much a face that suggests whatever you had planned or needed to get done today... is not getting done, resist or no. But resistance might be more fun.

My problem is more that they weren't even difficult - just tedious. And outside of 'Hit them harder' there wasn't really a clear indicator of what to do about it - I couldn't find the Buff or Debuff listed anywhere to actually read what it did, sorted through tutorials/etc. in-game and it's mostly just a mysterious HP-regen aura. Unless I missed something (entirely possible - it was pre-coffee, and I'd love to find out where this is actually listed), and that's not really interesting. Just obnoxious.
If they were difficult or had some way to actually engage with it beyond just doing more damage, I'd probably have been fine with it, Instead, it was one random chest fight that took 5 times longer then it probably should have.

Congrats! My anxiety keeps walling me out of doing the moving one, but I managed the Stopped one finally. Now I just need to box with the Anxiety daemon one last time for Ascent to Madness...

I feel the latest reveals of the Zeroth Directive do kind of suggest some deeper things from the plot as things go on (and how layered the plan actually is and while the face of it, the Endmin isn't the real core of it anymore with all of the contingencies in play)... but I also don't really want them to rush it.
Arknights OG does a good job of trying to avoid rushing as much as it can, and that's allowed them to really build out and texture the world as the story moves through it. That was one of the biggest problems that I had with Valley-4's story, but the pacing for Wuling has gotten better as it goes along. I hope they continue to refine it.
The latest patch also did a very good job of reminding me why I liked the original so much - it felt a lot like some of the better Side Stories, in not moving the plot forward a lot... but pulling it sideways to show other things just out of focus.
Of course that's just my opinion on it. I may be a tad biased.

Oh, that's a very lovely skirt. I do love things like that, but sadly lack the height to do them proper justice. Alas, some of us are built more dwarven then sleek snake goddess.
...I'ma still admire, though!

Ah, as a retired bully, sometimes nothing is more fun then the exasperation of someone with good reactions.
...a-and I want to stress bullying without prior consent or permission or beyond someone's tolerance is pretty heinous and you shouldn't do that. But a bit of friendly teasing and nudging is fine, with consent.
Shit. AMNESIA DUST! (foof)

Further compounding the issue: Orignium is some highly dangerous, highly toxic stuff. Dealing with the Infected has a high risk of spreading the infection (particularly if they expire from the disease - as they tend to explode into dust that can rapidly contaminate an entire area) or worsening already existing symptoms. Mining or handling the stuff requires some serious PPE, and I wouldn't be surprised that they would need full-on hazmat situations just to be real sure they don't contract or worsen Oripathy infections... or spread it.
Knights of Saint Lazarus type shit, dayo.
As for the drones, I mean, they're remote delivery drones for equipment and supplies. That's not exactly unusual and not a lot different from stuff like the skypoles. Just because they can be weaponized (and a lot of enemy factions they run into DO mount weaponary on drones deployed to halt RI's operations, which are usually Rescue or Defensive in nature for a significant part of the original story) doesn't mean they are, or that's their intended purpose. Gotta get meds to people somehow.

If only she had a bit more Dusk and a bit less Nian in her brain... If only~.
At the same time, something drawn with genuine care and passion is always fantastic!

Curse you, memetics. Just like that "Rhythm Divine" is stuck in my head once again... Though I suppose that'd be a fitting boss fight theme for Ho'olheyak. Hmm.

And then the Distressingly Gargantuan Rift.

Off to the side, Ling and Chongyue seeing what's about to go down and playing rock-paper-scissors to see which of them has to break up the inevitable fight THIS time, as Nian absolutely would finish that sentence. After making sure to give herself a proper head start.

Usually a Rossi or Laev team, unless I'm new shoes goofin' then it's a team for whoever I pulled last.

She's such a goober. My one weakness! ...Alright I have many weaknesses specifically related to character tropes. A cute tsundere is one of the original ones coded deep into my programming, though.
I for one blame Bulma Briefs and Rin Tohsaka...

So many good Dark-types and other spooky Pals for her to collect, too... and that's how I beat the game the first time, even!
Got to about mid-game with Bellanoir, Solenne (mutation egg), Nitemary and decided to not resist any further, we're back on our Hex Maniac business once again. Some fates cannot be avoided.

Well, I feel targeted. This one and the last one are definitely hitting my usual fashion areas! Looking forward to seeing if the trend continues as I cautiously move to the bunker in case more shots come down-range...
Keep up the amazing work! o7

Oh, to be Chameleos, and just be a toxic little guy...

Year one Arknights player, loved the setting and characters (and the skin system; Using a series of fashion lines for it was brilliant) but I'm nae quite as good at Tower Defense as I'd like (though I try to at least participate in events!).
They announced a more open-world ARPG style game and I was immediately on board (having been a big fan of the genre since.. Super Mario 64; I am old alright?), and very curious of how they would tie the story in. The base management was a tiny bit of a concern, and for a few patches it did wall me out (It was giving me legit anxiety attacks) until recently when I managed to shift my mindset towards gaming... in general to allow me to relax and chill a bit more (my base is a dark magic pastamancy ritual that will summon the Flying Spaghetti Collapsal to this world, but it gets by).
Initially the story was a bit flat for me, but Wuling picked things up a fair bit with the inclusion of a less.. up-front antagonist (Ardashir; Love to hate that nerd) and the story/presentation has gotten better as they go along so I remain hopeful that they will dial things in. Looking forward to seeing what comes next.
Though I keep finding out a lot of my original favorite operators are Uninfected so at this rate Kay may be the last Reconvener I'm excited for. Unless they want to tease me with Tomimi.
