I like the red so much better. It’s a natural fit IMO.

I’d say don’t paint but if you have no choice but to paint I like the red 1000x better.

According to Google they are from a 1995 Chilton Looney Tunes Tea Set, there’s a complete 14 piece set in much better condition for sale on eBay for $25. The emotional value to you from the memories is worth much more IMO.

That’s so sad, the box with Dads old toys got me. I’d be devastated if my kids lost my old toys because they failed to pay storage unit. Any way you can offer to sell it all back to the original owners? Just thinking that could be a quick sale. A toy store should buy them for a cheap and easy sale. Congrats on the score.

Lots of videos online that will show you how to replace it. You will at a minimum need a new vent, zip ties or a clamp big enough for the duct, possibly some duct tape, and some new caulk. Cut the caulk around existing vent, remove vent, install new vent, caulk around new vent.

Safety first…..Wear leather gloves, safety goggles and tape the mirror as others have suggested.

The Tron cycle is sweet! As others have said, the Falcon looks 99% with only the training remote (ball on fishing line), it’s for Luke to hone his Jedi skills. The Tauntaun has its harness so that’s also a nice bonus, usually that’s missing. The figures look really nice too, great that you have the blasters as that increases the value. I haven’t checked prices on Star Wars items lately so I couldn’t help in that department. Nice find! Did your grandmother pass them down to you? If you decide to keep it there are some nice display stands for the Falcon out there.

One is open and inviting and the other cozy. I like option 2 the cozy one better. Be thankful you have nice looking options.
