How'd ya make the video?
HeatPhoenix
fwiw you can just ask Codex to implement this for you, I did and it works flawlessly

What is the actual difference between ESC cancelling a turn and sending instantly, and this? A single tweet on a feature is not very useful.
HeatPhoenix
This would be so fun to play on one of the Anbernic handhelds! I see you already have a portmaster setup so I'm definitely trying it
HeatPhoenix
This is a problem with basically any LLM, it misunderstanding intent from actual outcome. This is why you have to understand what you're doing and can't just blindly trust what the LLM spits out.
HeatPhoenix
I definitely miss ? events feeling more like a mini-dungeons and dragons choice than just "gamble on an option in this roguelike".
HeatPhoenix
Honestly, I think all the designs are just a bit weaker. Especially Ironclad, more detail but the helmet's shapes are much less interesting.

On some day, preferably as soon as your natural weekly reset hits, you should burn all your tokens in one day (which is hard with the 5h limits), until you deplete the weekly. Then burn the reset to reset your weekly.

I consider this account a utility I pay for per month, so getting free drops like it's a mobile game feels deeply strange.
HeatPhoenix
The timer simply should not be reset. Until then it is not a "reset", it's just a quota shift in favor of OpenAI without informing their customers.
HeatPhoenix
The 3AM stuff is completely made up. Check his tweet replies, zero mention of it.

Depends on what you want to do, but I'd at least assume a bachelor's at a good uni and some decent connections. More realistically a relevant master's. Doctorate's if you want to be at NASA or something. It's a hard question to answer without knowing a. what you wanna do, b. what you got right now

I'm fine since I'm in research and not actual missions/dual-use. But for the actual design kits, not even American models are allowed to see those. They only get to see my schematic, which makes things a lot harder but it's still doable with the intelligence we've had since around Codex 5.3. Obviously 5.6 Sol is better, though - so it's hard to justify doing it much cheaper at risk of making obvious mistakes that will cost time later.
HeatPhoenix
I don't really vibe code as much as I direct Codex to implement things (hardware engineer for integrated circuit design for spacecraft) and run tests and write scripts to evaluate results. I can imagine if you want the LLM to be smart enough to genuinely understand a system and thus be able to optimize it we're maybe still a ways out.
HeatPhoenix
I think we hit this at about Codex 5.3. My bigger issue is that compute needs to become cheaper, but it's also just very hard to use the cheap models when you know you're potentially risking stupid mistakes that more expensive models would have caught.

Codex CLI is quite good, but the inability to run tasks in the background and then only consume more tokens when such a task is finished is a killer. Desktop can't do this either I THINK, but VS Code's extensions (including Copilot) could. Such a weird oversight.
HeatPhoenix
Absolutely insane you would send this email. I'm glad you get use out of AI assistants but it is just disrespectful of other people to pretend you're above writing your own correspondence to them.
HeatPhoenix
This is already a huge issue for Codex in general. I run long sims sometimes and I just have to tell Codex "start the sim, stop working and give me a time estimate" and then after X minutes I check if the terminal ended or not. Which wasn't a problem in the VS Code Copilot harness. Hope they implement this "call back" like feature soon.

LINE support is fantastic. Thank you so much.
I think it just randomly stopped working today though. Should I just remove and re-add it?
HeatPhoenix
I use Unify Chat Provider rather than the native extension. Native extension hangs all the time so I gave up on it.
HeatPhoenix
Been using this but it still consumes credits, I think for explore subagents and such things.
HeatPhoenix
The game makes you see him during Ralsei's explanation, and most people will have seen the Mantle game and ERAM.
HeatPhoenix
The idea of being proud of being disengaged and not knowing what is happening seems pretty odd to me. Knowing and saying "it doesn't concern me" is one thing, but not knowing and saying you're proud of not knowing is just weird.
HeatPhoenix
Nice, thank you!
Chat is definitely no longer unlimited, it also includes astra which easily drains your limit
edit: sol 6, any effort is still unlimited
