split screen in Minecraft has been a mess for a while now, especially after some of the recent updates broke controller priority handling. what platform are you on because the fix is usually different depending on whether you're on console or PC. on console i've seen people have luck just unplugging everything, restarting the game completely, then connecting controllers one at a time before even loading a world. the controller conflict thing where P2 joining boots P1 is a known bug and it's genuinely annoying that it still hasn't been properly patched

Check if ufw is installed first - run `sudo ufw status` in terminal. If it's not active you might need to enable it with `sudo ufw enable` before the GUI tools will show anything useful

The 2023 with known minor damage beats the mystery repair job every time - when a dealer wont tell you what they're fixing that's a massive red flag
