I'm gonna have to look into this as I am starting to get random shifts. My printer is in a different room so I don't always see it happen but today while I was checking on a print I heard what sounded like the belt skipped and sure enough I had a massive layer shift. If I slow the print down it seems to print fine but I don't want to have my prints take 2x the time.

Most laptops use a 20 volt charger. I have a Lenovo that uses a 65watt USB c charger. In the bottom there should be a tag with the model number. You can Google that number along with charger and it should point you in the right direction.

Push down on the black ring and then pull the tube out. You can use a pair of small needle nose pliers or just a fingernail. It can be a little tricky but it will come out

I've been doing it for years but people don't seem to know that a lot of things can actually be repaired. A friend of mine threw away an expensive laptop because the screen broke and he didn't know it could be replaced. The motherboard in my personal PC has to have trace repairs to get all the ram slots to work. It was tedious but I only paid $50 for a high end x570 board so I call it a win

Went pretty well. I added a comment with a picture

It actually turned out fairly well. I added a comment with a picture

Update. Sorry for the delay. I pulled the print the morning after it finished at 3 am and headed to work so I never got a picture. I had my friends wife send me a picture. She loves it. It turned out pretty well. Some small issues with the underside of the holder but otherwise it was a surprisingly clean print.

It's very very simple. The cables are labeled and it's 4 screws.

I know this sounds mean but I could give less than a shit about famous people. I hear they died and take a moment to say " well that sucks" and then go about my day. These famous people haven't done anything personally for me so it's very hard for me care about their demise.

Depending on what you have in the PC it's literally like 3 to 5 cables. Swapping a PSU is simple and will make sure you don't have issue when you upgrade

I'm using creality print. I'm not really up to date on things other than just pressing print and hoping for the best
Helcor2016
Hehehe
Helcor2016
It is but the customer is probably gonna use it for a plant
Helcor2016
Yeah I set up a special waste bin just for this.
Helcor2016
Yeah I thought about that but I wanna see if this thing can print for 3 days straight lol
Helcor2016
I'm not a seasoned printer. What exactly is that?
Helcor2016
So those screws should be 6-32. Pretty common for PCs. Of course getting the old ones out is always a pain when they strip like that.
Helcor2016
Found this also. Says 6 screws need to be removed and I assume the large red arrow means you need to slide the whole board forward??? I'm not 100% sure. This wasn't the exact model but everything looks very similar.

Ah well thats not a teardown. Sorry about that. Maybe pull the SSD and see if there is a screw underneath it. Also someone mention the standoff for the CPU cooler. Most OEM PC like this will actually use the case as the backplate for the cooler. It's a dumb design but hp and dell have been doing it for years. I'm not saying acer does it but who knows.

This might help

Adjust this so that the blue float it's holding goes downward. That will make the fill valve shut off the water sooner. Adjust and test till it's where you need it to be.

Only way to know if it's the PC or the monitor is to test. If you have a nother monitor then try that, a TV will work also. If you get a good display then it's probably the monitor. Also try reseating your cables to the monitor. I had a bad DP cable that would give me weird artifacts sometimes. Replaced it because I needed a longer one and haven't had a problem since.

Having it constantly plugged in is probably not good for the battery. Some laptops will run being plugged in without a battery so you could try that. Take the bottom off and unplug the battery, wrap the connector with tape so it doesn't short on anything. See if the laptop still turns on and functions. If it does and you aren't getting the pop up then it's probably the battery. Alternative to that there may be a diagnostic menu you can get into that will tell you battery health and let you test system components.

Possible that there is a bios update for your board. Had the same issue with an AMD CPU on a b450 board with a 5600x. The board supported the CPU but there had been a few bios updates that helped with how the CPU was powered. Temps went from 80-90 down to 50-60. Not saying it's the issue for you but it wouldn't hurt to check. If you're up to date then maybe consider a better cooler. Good luck
