MA3 software is free. You could always run it off your computer and rent a Node or the usbc dmx key to get output and test it out. And then if it works out for you, then you could think about buying a console (or I guess you could rent a console to try it out that way but I know that’s more expensive).

Also, the Command Wing is just a interface and you still need a computer to run OnPC but the XT version has a windows computer built in

The ADJ hazer is exactly at your max budget but you could find it used and I’ve used the same one for over 5 years and it’s still working well. However, it’s water based which is bigger particles compared to oil based haze, so that might not work well for your fire alarms. We personally put the fire alarms in test mode whenever we haze
