Negligible for the vast majority of video gen use cases. I have two rigs with 5090s. One has a 9950x3d and the other has a 13600k. Not the exact same processors but honestly probably more of a performance gap and generation times are very similar. The GPU is doing the lions share of the work.

Man I thought I was crazy to pay $900 for 128gb back in December but apparently not.

That’s part 3 I just haven’t posted it yet
Ok…this is gonna be kinda long but bear with me. The speed you see on your device depends significantly on how you’re connecting and what equipment you’re using to make your upstream internet connection and connect to your device. You could have super high speed internet service from the provider but still be seeing garbage speed if one or more of these things is off.
Your internet connection is basically a chain, and it's only as fast as the slowest link. The speed you're paying for is the best case/max possible speed (for example I have gigabit but get about 900 megabit max). Plenty of things between the line coming off the pole and your screen can drag it down.
First: gateway, the box your provider gave you. If its ports or hardware can't keep up with your plan, that's your ceiling right there. A gateway with a 1 gig port on a 2 gig plan means you're getting 1 gig, period. This is honestly less likely given how slow your speed is. You’d have to have a super old gateway to be capped at 10 megabit.
Next is your router, if you have a separate one. Older or cheaper routers often can't move traffic at full speed, especially with features like VPN, parental controls or QoS turned on, since those all make the router work harder.
Then: Wi-Fi is usually where the biggest drop happens. Distance, walls, floors, your neighbors' networks and which band you're on (2.4 GHz vs. 5 or 6 GHz) all take a bite. Getting half the advertised speed over Wi-Fi is pretty normal, and sometimes it's a lot less.
Then there's the device itself. An older phone or laptop might have a slow Wi-Fi chip or a 100 Mbps Ethernet port, or just not have the horsepower. Background updates and apps eat into it too. Even cables matter. An old Cat5 cable or a damaged one can quietly cap you at 100 Mbps or even slower without you ever noticing.
The easiest way to figure out where the problem is: plug a computer straight into the gateway with a known good cable (ie a new one not whatever ancient garbage you have lying around) and run a speed test. If that's fast and your Wi-Fi isn't, the issue is somewhere in your house, not with your provider or your device (the one you tested plugged in anyway)
