Yeah, but surgeons all have amazing qualifications. It’s hard enough just being a doctor. And yet some of them are butchers.

Being qualified is not enough, nor is being old. Research is good in general, but says little about the surgeons own skills. Tons of surgeons write papers, especially new surgeons for some reason. Same as writing a book on the subject, which some have done, including a really bad surgeon I can think of.

Bank is not just any surgeon either, he’s arguably the best in the world so I’m not saying Djordjevic bad, just Bank is a lot better.

There’s other famed surgeons out there who are very average.

There aren’t many for those surgeons . I don’t think they are popular with the demographic that uses reddit. There are however some reviews of Dr Burin linked in the wiki. I don’t recall what’s there for the other one.

I wish the mods here would do more to get rid of this stuff. It keeps occurring.

Lidocaine often has adrenaline in it to make it last longer and reduce bleeding, but it also causes shaking. I’ve had dental injections with it and could barely walk for 5 min afterwards.
