why are conservatives severely lacking when it comes to humor ? I bet the people who created this video thought it was funny too and patted themselves on the back, cringe.

The show itself doesn't take itself seriously and that is half the fun, so don't worry about such details I say.

You either want to sell or not. Sell now by being competitive or sell for even less in a year, your choice.

God all this is so boring. Boring soulless people on the internet are going to be soulless. Don't add to it.

Being tackled by a girl in karate class , I was around 12 (I remember the year I did karate classes). The girl was older and much taller ( when you are that age everyone looks older but she can't have been more than 17.

Anyway I was feeling all kind of weird and funny feelings, and did not understand at all what was happening. Mixed with uptight upbringing I also felt immense shame at not being able to get the girl out of my head, the smell of her. I kept feeling that I was some kind of horrible monstrosous person for feeling like that.

Anyway, in 2 years once I understood what was that about I had the aha moment. But I remember cringing at the memory for a long time. That was when my childhood was over.

Where I grew up sex ed was not a thing, in my case I think it would have helped, I am glad it exists in this society.

who is watching the show for the first time ever. Just finished Coven tonight.

Me.

(wonder if I will finish in time)

Read, I am serious, reading allows you to live many many lives in a single one, and is a good distraction until you die naturally.

I imagine walking into the ocean, or into the woods. Something in nature away from this bullshit.

They shot and killed their own hostages while they were trying to escape and begging for help. There were no "rules of engagement" during that war , just shoot anything that moves.

This is sooo cool.

Pity The Nation by Robert Fisk.

book, miles ahead imho.

Just finished Asylum tonight and I think it is a masterpiece.

Have 10 more seasons to binge. It's awesome to discover good shows late in the game.

beautifully said , and I do agree 100% that Lyra is THE self insert of the author himself: How he came into the republic of heaven growing up, and then his struggles in adulthood with The Book of Dust.

I admire that he told the story he wanted to tell without succumbing to the enormous pressure of shallow fan service that comes with success. And we are all richer for it. TRF is so dear to me.

Money.

yeah, that is the most amazing theme in HDM.

Was Marissa sculpted by fate because she had to be fully corrupt to lure Metatron, or did she have a say in the matter, free will.

This tension between fate and free will is baked into the DNA of HDM all the way back to the conversation between Serafina and Lee in Northern Lights.

It is something clearly PP thinks deeply about, and presents that tension even when he is not sure how to break it. It shows up vividly again in the burning man sequence in TSC.

But going back that scene by the abyss was epic and the peak of TAS before the devastating winding down.

- Your king is under check.

- there is no legal move that takes your king out of check.

Done, nothing else matters.
