Oh, that's awesome! I was looking into it, to make sure it wasn't written by AI, since I already had it on my list!

HomelessWafer

Happy to hear you're intentional with your AI use, your story is at the top of my Read Later list!

The book was "A Very Personal Computer" by Justine Rendal!

I looked it up, and that's the one! Thank you so much!

HomelessWafer

No, I haven't figured it out at least, but it's good to have another clue!

Congratulations, great job! It's a big rush to finally beat that level, you have to study it like a chess game AND perform well lol

Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott

The Powder Mage Trilogy by Brian McLellan is amazing, has a very compelling story and I just loved the characters.

HomelessWafer

The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb sounds right up your alley (the jester character is named The Fool). And there's a second series after the trilogy with the same main character. :)

HomelessWafer

Agreed

The Sworn Soldier series by T. Kingfisher, though they are on the shorter side, they are very enjoyable. There are three so far, and could be more in the future.

Redwall by Brian Jacques :)

Find Me by Carrol O'Connell

And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie

The Fork, The Witch, and the Worm by Christopher Paolini, once you've had some time away. That's what I did and it felt like a visit from a friend. :)

HomelessWafer

Did you create these, or is it a potential project by some studio/indie dev?

Adulting: How to Become an Adult in 468 Easy(ish) Steps by Kelly Williams Brown

A lot of wisdom for a book that's not very long. Good blend of humor with insight. Updated edition has more steps.

Down the Long Hills by Louis L'Amour

Yeah, fantasy and "romantasy" are completely different genres, I can understand your trepidation.

I'd recommend "Lord of Blackthorne" by Jason Kingsley, I'm reading it right now. The guy is very historically based, and the genre is listed as both "historical fiction" and "fantasy"

HomelessWafer

Ooh, I've been looking to read that one! Glad to see a recommendation for it! :)

Here to back up Wheel of Time. Just finished it, and it was an amazing ride. :)
