You can use std::backtrace::Backtrace to explicitly get backtraces: https://doc.rust-lang.org/std/backtrace/struct.Backtrace.html

There's also the backtrace crate for if you're stuck on an older version of Rust.

O no!

(sorry)

Ah, that makes more sense. From the docs, it doesn't look like there's a way simple of configuring that, but a show rule should do the trick.

I agree that it would be good for this to be configurable, though I think the quote function perhaps needs an additional argument rather than swapping double and single quotes.

Humandoodlebug

No, it isn't. Not sure who would want this other than to localise an already-written American document. I think it would be misleading to call it "en-gb" since we'd just use the quotes the other way around.

Besides, it's become very common to use double quotes for quotations these days even in Britain. I was taught to use double quotes in primary school, and it's probably more common to see double quotes now than single (at least it feels like that to me).

Personally, I don't think the existing 'workaround' is too arduous, and I think the alternative suggested by OP could be very confusing for Brits.

You can use get_or_insert to do a similar thing to what you're describing with your counter example.

How do you import your sub-files? If you're using import, then try using include instead - it more or less acts like the content of the sub-file was wherever you call include.

Is this what you're looking for?

Same issue, just started today. I tried just cloning a few repos without an AUR helper, but same error message. Also checked and I can clone gitlab repos fine so it appears to be a server-side issue.

EDIT: Appears to be back up now!

Clearly NTA, but tread lightly if you depend on her financially.

Humandoodlebug

NTA.

Your body, not hers.

You don't need to make or honour any 'deal' you made here, especially as the effects of blockers aren't permanent.

Humandoodlebug

Easy NTA.

Your Aunt and her children aren't your responsibility. End of.

If you want to help her out, that's your prerogative, but she doesn't 'deserve' your help, and it isn't your responsibility to give it.

Humandoodlebug

NTA. She lost them, it's her responsibility to replace them. You told her the right size, but she made a mistake, so she has to make it right.

Since she's struggling to find the money, you could ask her if she can pay you back later if you buy the glasses now.

Humandoodlebug

NTA. She's not a close friend, so it's not your responsibility to constantly make sure she's ok - if you don't want to talk to her, you don't have to.

Sounds like she's looking for someone to offload onto, so I don't blame you for not wanting to engage. Just calmly let her know you're busy and don't answer her calls unless you want to talk to her. She'll eventually get the hint.

Humandoodlebug

NTA. You didn't know they were there, it's not like you were trying to offend them. Once they started making overt requests for you to censor yourself in your own home, you can be forgiven for responding in kind.

A is a little bit the AH, but if her parents are really religious, this probably put her in a very difficult situation (you literally invoked the most evil thing in the world in their world view).

I recommend you think about how difficult it must be for A to have extremely religious parents, give A a little slack, and offer to moderate yourself a little more carefully next time A's parents are over, provided A lets you know they're coming in advance.

Humandoodlebug

I think this is a uniquely American thing. Doesn't really happen in the UK at least (there are better pay laws over here afaik).

They used to be the case, but .NET 5 is vNext for Core 3.1. They're doing away with the Windows-only version and making Windows only modules that build on the cross-platform core.

Do you use an AUR helper? yay is my go-to right now. You should have some knowledge of the manual AUR installation method before using one though as things can occasionally break, but on the whole it really makes the whole process of installing and updating AUR packages barely any more hassle than ordinary repo packages.

tbh, I reckon she would have been far more polite if he'd have spoken English fluently without an accent, as sad as that is.

Humandoodlebug

Sounds like Karma to me. Either way, she has no right to be angry after what she did. NTA.

Humandoodlebug

This is definitely a bug, likely caused by the konsole shortcut 'leaking through'. Setting the Close Session shortcut to 'None' actually fixes this for some reason, with Ctrl+Shift+W still closing tabs in yakuake.
