Why are you posting a bunch of asterisks?
HunterDigi
Some windows update added "End task" when rightclicking a program in the taskbar.
HunterDigi
That doesn't affect the range at all. It's hardcoded to 0.35m between their detection phantom centers.

You can make your own memory with 2 timer blocks to ensure any repeated calls won't toggle it.
Timer Open's toolbar: Doors Open, Turn Off on itself, Turn on Timer Close.
Timer Close's toolbar: Doors Close, Turn Off on itself, Turn on Timer Open.
Then use these timers' Trigger Now action in the sensor's toolbar.

You have to understand that it's not clear vision, it's very low detail and mostly for picking up motion. If I wiggle my fingers I can see about 180 too, must be nice for those with 210 =)
HunterDigi
I think there's also other tasks it does per file, for example when it starts copying it has to find all fragments, that process itself might take some time too and adds up for each file. Then after finishing copying it has to update stuff about it, like last accessed, update the master table, etc.
HunterDigi
What exactly are you changing for it to affect planet positions? O.o Or link the mod and I'll check it out that way.
The reason I ask is because I don't think it's possible without scripts, considering they're already placed in the template world that it's cloning when doing a new game xD so one of us is missing something here.
HunterDigi
A workshop mod cannot do this because the limit is hardcoded (MyTextPanel.OnClosedPanelTextBox for example, has the 100000 right there).
This requires a plugin to hotswap code in clientside and serverside too, as it most likely checks it in both.
You could instead add that image with your own mod and it would be way better for performance in general. If new to making mods, start from: https://spaceengineers.wiki.gg/wiki/Modding Then the SBC def that handles adding textures for LCDs: https://spaceengineers.wiki.gg/wiki/Modding/Reference/SBC/LCDTexture_Definition

but if you are too slow then instead a host migration it will kick you all the way back to the login screen.
yeaaaaah... that's why I'd rather have a proper way to do it xD
HunterDigi
It exists in endless missions yes, but I'm talking about non-endless versions of those game modes (lotus alerts, invasions, etc) where you can't extract alone.
And what I gather from what OP is saying:
Other randos were confused about Kuva Survival =/= Kuva Survival (Taveuni) and didn't go immediately to extraction.
Seems that the argument broke out because everyone didn't go to extract and the red guy was stuck waiting in extraction and couldn't extract. It's not about the red guy being unfamiliar with the game, it's about the red guy being rude that the others weren't aware that the mission was over, and the red guy wanted to leave... so it was kinda unintentional griefing that was met with rude responses then devolved into intentional griefing xD
HunterDigi
If it was a regular mission then they can't leave without aborting.
Griefing would be so much less effective if we could self-migrate to solo to continue the mission.
My feedback on this in 2022: https://forums.warframe.com/topic/1314943-i-love-the-new-self-extract-option-of-zariman-please-make-it-everywhereimprove/
And another relevant pain point: https://forums.warframe.com/topic/1328736-losing-connection-to-host-during-loading-is-an-annoying-chain-of-events/
HunterDigi
It sounds like they're talking about a mission that gives a 5/10min timer and that's it, so it's not a normal survival mission, more like a mission to want that amount of time (minus the new accelerators). In THOSE you cannot extract alone, you must extract as a squad so you need at least 2 to start the timer which it then forces everyone to extract.
HunterDigi
You can upload things to mod.io through their website (add -> item). Zip up the bp.sbc file and you need some image to upload too and you're set.
HunterDigi
They want to bring an external blueprint file into the console, not the other way around.
HunterDigi
The red indicator is on the existing block, it's to indicate what block is selected for painting or removing (I think they're in creative mode/tools too)
HunterDigi
I highly recommend not editing the game directly, copy the files to a mod and change'em there, then add the mod to your world (doesn't require publishing for singleplayer).
https://spaceengineers.wiki.gg/wiki/Modding/Tutorials/Creating_And_Uploading_Mods
Otherwise, be VERY upfront about this fact whenever you talk about issues with anyone, because it can and will cause problems that only you will have, as opposed to a mod with this stuff simply will not.
HunterDigi
If you're on PC, add my BuildInfo mod and it will automatically highlight the blocks that get in the way of merging.
If that's not it, post the world and I'll try to find what's going on there.
HunterDigi
The examples are mostly to be linked from the wiki, for example it links to it from here: https://spaceengineers.wiki.gg/wiki/Modding/Reference/Programming/Intro
Although using MDK2 you don't need to know where to put the scripts and such since it will create the mod structure for you upon building the project.
Regardless, the thing at the end of the page is the imporatnt bit, gamelogic and session examples are the starting points. For running stuff on each instance of a block, the gamelogic is the starting point, read more on that one's comments.
After that, messing with anything involving antenna systems sounds like a major pain, as barely anything is whitelisted from that system. I would need to know specifics if you want to be pointed in some direction.
exploring the game code with a decompiler would be the other important tool to use.
And if you're cozy with AI tools, they seem to be reasonably usable in making SE script mods but I dunno much more that there's a Claude SE modding skill linked in the wiki's modding tools page.
HunterDigi
Also I suspect many feel like they have nothing to do while they wait 3 days for a frame to finish so they'll rather not play.
If maybe playing missions would subtract some time from foundry stuff then it would maybe incentivise rushing by playing. Depends on what they really wanna do here.
HunterDigi
Warframe also does some re-routing through their servers if there's no direct connection, at least that's what I hear from developers... but in my experience it doesn't work, the game just decides you failed the mission because you couldn't connect to the new host, instead of even migrating me solo, so they have lots of issues with handling migration :/ It might work for actual matchmaking as that I can't tell if it's connected to a peer or through their servers without looking at where packets go xD
HunterDigi
It doesn't matter though as long as their build is complete, because after the first levelling the stats are the same regardless of level.
HunterDigi
His 2 gives you some stacks that get consumed upon firing 4. More stacks = more ROF. So just cast it again and again.
Would you kindly link this build :}
