Okay, I get where you're coming from, and despite my love for Ubisoft, that love is meant for devs not for corpo suits. I don't particularly like the higher ups of corporations but I've learnt to live by the code that if if I don't have real evidence, I won't go around accuse people or believe accusations made against them. Not necessarily favor them but be neutral until more info is given. I also consider it possible that some equally sick people to the abusers used the chance to get at innocents hoping it would ruin their careers, so there it is.
IArchangelI
Except they didn't, but rather got a third party to conduct the investigations. I am not saying who's guilty and who's innocent or if the statements or the investigation results are truthful or not, just pointing out that your sarcasm is misplaced.
IArchangelI
Herbs, shmerbs, how about a round of gwent?
IArchangelI
Stop being so full of yourself and that much disrespectful to me. I can continue if I want, it just won't help, so chill!!! You find the game broken, I didn't disrespectful your opinion, I find it just in need of tweaking, you gotta respect my opinion even if you think it's wrong. If you can't, then it's no wonder why the community gets more toxic everyday. I am dropping the whole thing now, fot god sake just go and do something useful.
IArchangelI
At this point I am just dropping the discussion. It seems you can't make a convo without being a bit offensive and I don't really feel obliged to defend my opinions to you. Go say or do whatever you like, no one is gonn pay attention to you anyway (my mistake is that I did)
IArchangelI
That's where you are wrong. Many players had no problem with Valhalla's stealth. Is it a great system? Nope but it's not broken. That's where opinions are born. Secondly, you're assuming because it is the same studio and some of the top management that they are entirely the same team who made other two games that are 3 and 7 years old. My entire point is that you are not offering constructive feedback and being a developer myself, this is the type of feedback that I will completely ignore. Don't turn it into a subjective debate on whether we agree on a game or not.
IArchangelI
The only thing I see you did now is telling a group of devs to throw their work in a garbage can because you don't like it. You didn't give constructive feedback or anything, just copy others' work because your work is trash. I hope one day you are in similar shoes and get told that, so you know what you did wrong here.
IArchangelI
I have no issue with you on how you preceive the game and how you would like it to be, it's totally okay, but I still have to say that what you love about AC is not fundamentally AC. You see, you love the premise of a hooded fellow (or warrior sometimes) that lives through the ages and gets you to explore different places and historical periods which is actually something I adore about the series. Yet, to say that modern day weakens the series or things like that is to outright deny what AC started as and what it truly is. The game was never about just history, it has always been a sci fi history simulation with a touch of fantasy and if you take that away, it's not particularly AC. Just a historical game about freedom fighters against oppressing control of the people.
If your argument is that the modern day in the games is weak and doesn't contribute much, your observation is right, but it is only true because Ubisoft remains shy and conflicted regarding the modern day thanks to the fact that the greater part of the new AC fans share your opinion and couldn't care less about Modern Day, and Ubisoft will always want to cater to the desires of the majority as best as could just like any business would do.

Hold on a moment, you are firing the hate guns based on a rumor from 4chan? Are you real? Besides, you paid 120€ for what was advertised to be included in the 120€ package, which is the base game (incredibly massive) and the season pass which contains two expansions that were advertised before the base game release. That's what you paid for and you know what you paid for. Assumimg the rumor is true and a change of plans is in order that instead of a new game in 2022, it's a third bigger expansion, why do you find it justified that they give you that for free? They never even thought about it when they priced the current existing packages for the game nor is it normal to give away a year's work for free, game devs are not slaves, you know that, right? No? Oh hell. It may surprise you but they got families to feed too.
If that rumor is true, then the upcoming expansion is as big as games you pay full price for willingly, just attaching AC Valhalla name to it doesn't mean it should be included in what you already paid, and if you feel that you didn't get your money's worth in content, well, that makes one of us.

Yeah I mostly did but there was this one time when my body rotated dangerously and I need to adjust myself so I spontaneously tried to hold the line and....it wasn't good 😂
IArchangelI
The one I walked on was twine, the zipline was metal I guess but I was sliding with a hook.
IArchangelI
It was scary at times even though it's safe, but tell that to your mind when you are rope walking with a rocky water stream below 😂
IArchangelI
I had the experience of going through a zipline/obstacle track and while I enjoyed it so much, I had moments when I had to hold on to ropes so hard and since my hand gloves were small, my fingers were cut, just as you said, flesh torn out of my fingers and it was very painful and not even as painful as it would be if I ziplined with my hands like in the game.
IArchangelI
Actually not these small chests. These rather contain the materials needed to upgrade gear stats not enhance its rarity, open more stat upgrades and change looks.
IArchangelI
I Origins, I would say it was well executed. It wasn't about the character itself but more about the innocence of a child and the cruelty and tyranny of an oppressor. I would say it didn't really work well in Odyssey without spoiling anything. In Valhalla, it all comes down to the game connects you to the characters, and I maybe a bit sentimental really.
IArchangelI
I hate to bring it up but when games give us a home, a safe haven as you call it, they tend to have it attacked, burnt down with a few characters possibly dying. Prepare your heart and guts for pain and tragedy 🥺
IArchangelI
Not really. The tie-in comic author stated that he asked the team which gender is canon because he wanted to write for the canon one obviously, but the answer he received was that both are canon and so he decided to go for female Eivor.
IArchangelI
You insist on generalising your personal perceptions across all others "old fans" which really leads this conversation nowhere...have fun dude.
IArchangelI
Wait a second...what low sales are we talking about here? 🤔 and please....seriously dude...don't speak for "true AC fans"...or better yet...drop that fanbase classification BS...it's really toxic.
IArchangelI
It's the main theme of Norway in particular.
IArchangelI
I don't remember that but would fistech actually do that? The only thing I remember was how Geralt was heartbroken to see how life had taken its toll on his little girl remember the scene in mind and start sobbing :'(
IArchangelI
Luckily, I just did already 😂
IArchangelI
Yeah I believe it was a bit greyesh though not a big difference. Maybe I need to go check it in the game.
IArchangelI
If I remember correctly, by the end if the books, she started developing some white strands of hair and was emphasised in the books through Geralt observing that change and relating it to the experiences she's been through, so I guess the choice to have her hair even more white in the game could be due to more hair color transformation over six years. ( Th difference between the books and the start of Wild Hunt is about 6 years)
Astonishing work here, truly well done. I am actually thinking of using it as my PC's lock screen. Do you have like a super resolution version by any chance? :')
