Ja mając 18 lat nie zrobiłem prawka, bo obawiałem się "uszczęśliwienia" mnie jakimś samochodem przez rodzinę. Wiem, brzmi jak problem pierwszego świata, ale do czego zmierzam.

Mieszkałem w dużym mieście i mam ojca dla którego bez samochodu jak bez ręki. Jak się na coś uprze, to musi być na jego. Bałem się, że jeśli zrobię prawko, to znajdzie mi jakiś tani samochód, który to ja będę musiał utrzymywać. Nie miałem wtedy wielkich perspektyw zarobkowych (studia dzienne), i nie lubiłem generalnie nigdzie jeździć czy spotykać się z ludźmi. Więc samochód by mi robił jedynie za alternatywę komunikacji miejskiej - trochę szybciej gdzieś dojadę, ale za to nie mogę w międzyczasie coś porobić siedząc w autobusie. Już w wieku 18 lat marzyło mi się jak najszybciej uzbierać na kupno mieszkania, dlatego taki niepotrzebny wydatek tylko opóźniałby mi realizację celu o miesiące lub lata.

Wiele lat temu jedna parada w Gdańsku była pokazaniem "zobaczcie, jesteśmy tutaj, jest nas trochę, jesteśmy tacy jak Wy, chcielibyśmy być równo traktowani". I to było super. Natomiast w momencie gdy cała parada zamienia się w performance artystyczny z drag queen, krzykliwymi i momentami kontrowersyjnymi hasłami, to jestem zdecydowanie na nie. Jestem gejem. Myślę że gdybym był hetero i nie miał nikogo w najbliższym otoczeniu kto jest LGBT, to takimi krzykliwymi hasłami mógłbym zacząć postrzegać tych ludzi negatywnie, mimo że wcześniej mogłem być całkowicie neutralny.

Now you can even cheese it without breaking the script, by simply getting the unlimitedly-upgradable artifacts in the previous mission, skipping a few hundred turns to get a lot of resources to convert to dust and upgrading them.

I think that some speed tasks are okay, but not those that pretty much require you to either have BiS gear or be extremely lucky.

I'd be down for speed tasks that require you to do them in specific gear - or with equipment up to xx skill requirement. And even then please don't expect us to just have to cheese it with ruby specs or Dharok's - hell, I'd even vote to ban those cheese strats for speed trials. I want to have to aim for effective gear and minimal downtime fighting the boss, not rolling the dice

As others have mentioned, it's all the 6th age timeline stuff. Think expansions in other MMOs. The quest that starts the 6th age - The World Wakes - itself has mild requirements, with the full list of requirements needed only to unlock full post-quest rewards. Afterwards most quests released after TWW should require you to have TWW done ... But they don't. There can be novice quests with no requirements that address plot as if you've already done TWW. It's extremely confusing, like if your character was a part of two parallel dimensions at the same time. In one you're an adventurer doing Monkey Madness, while in the other you're this "world guardian" trying to stop the end of the world.

Yes! I don't play RS anymore as much as I used to. I tend to take breaks that last a couple of years. When I come back I want to get the gist of the current gear meta without having to read/watch any guides. Pre-cosmetics era as a wee noob I knew instantly that bandos is the cool kids set, while the fighter torso and the dragon platelegs is the budget setup. But then after everyone started using cosmetics, I had no clue. After EoC I could go simply with item tiers, but even then it could take a bit to find out which of the high tier items are relatively cheap

I played it on the highest difficulty on launch. That is, it was the highest back then, I know they've added another difficulty since then.

Yeah, it wasn't the greatest. I've died so many times. The worst thing is I didn't really feel like I did something wrong half the time. It felt sluggish. Half the time I wanted to react to enemy attacks, but Geralt did nothing.

The game got bearable after I've started abusing the quen sign. Still, the dragon fight and one optional quest battle towards the end of the game took me many tries.

That reminds me of something. Way back when I used to play Tibia, another old MMO. I made my own private server to play with my friends and some random ppl that registered on the website.

One day I got bored and decided to look inside various server files. That's how I realized I can add custom monsters with notepad. I've decided it would be funny to one-up the hardest monster in the game. It was some demon that summoned other demons. So I took the most peaceful monster sprite - a butterfly - and made it summon the demon boss guy many times ... and they in turn summoned regular demons.

When I summoned that butterfly it was glorious! One second you see a seemingly peaceful butterfly, then a bunch of demon bosses get summoned, and then the screen is swarmed with regular demons as well! It nearly broke the server - and killed many players too!

As far as I remember, you could pre-put logs in all of the beacons and also pay additional logs to the npcs next to the beacons to make them last a few minutes longer. If you used magics, then as long as you weren't pked it was a breeze. Especially after the Ogre Resort came out and you could get infinite run energy for several minutes
