To chinese people, how is my home town of shenyang doing? We moved from china to canada back in 2012 and I've seen a lot of positive developent throughout china and I wonder how it's like now. Back then small 5 floor apartment was common but I remember newly built big apartments, (i.redd.it) [Asia :continent_asia:]

I know we're in okr but where did you get such information?

看样子整个东北会有困难, seems like the basic report is what it is, food is cheap because chinese government subsidize food but economy wise seems like everyone on earth is in trouble :( at least it sound nice to travel.

That sounds nice, granted I've never studied economics or sociology but I do wonder what it's like to live in a Nordic country, my country is huge and my home city alone is half of your population but everything is crazy competitive.

Let's wait for someone from there to weight in.

It's not well defined, my mother born in 1971 told me before china opened up her most expensive gift for her birthday is a chicken egg but those days are long gone, and her days of poor is still better than British or Japanese invasion. I guess I'm saying the world is having a hard is because of population decline and more inequality, more and more young people regardless of country has given up on owning a home.

I_need_to_learn_more

Yes but imo it could be even better.

I_need_to_learn_more

you say that but your banner is the qing flag or maybe since we're on r/truth you're just joking. the way I see it is the original chinese thought themselves as centre of the universe, they had massive amount of fertile land so conquest wasn't really a concern. Yuan and qing maybe seen as not great but yuan expanded trade and qing had expansion of land.

Bruh, the culture back then was just like it, European monk, Japanese lords, mongols manchus all had wacky haircut why you bashing only us?

I_need_to_learn_more

Modern day it's seen like that and I don't blame them, but prime qing was awesome.

I_need_to_learn_more

你是中国人吗?

I_need_to_learn_more

yuan is ok, I know we're on r/truths but I'm actual a manchu so my biase is at qing.

I_need_to_learn_more

once they do unite they become china lol
