Ill_Land599

Any chance she wants to share the basics??

Ill_Land599

Hes got a buzzz

Ill_Land599

No. They definitely were not. The DTES is truly tragic.... From your post, I assume you have not visited or driven through the area - for that reason, Im trying to give you the benefit of doubt. Please be more considerate and think before you post.

Ill_Land599

That is really unfortunate. I am truly sorry to hear that.

Also, speaking as a mom who has experienced extreme burnout to the point of going on disability from work, your wife needs to prioritize herself.... being "absurdly tough" through illness or even just daily life struggles is a recipe for disaster. Just because you CAN make it through the day/work the shift, etc. doesn't mean you SHOULD. Life will find a way to catch up.

Ill_Land599

You do that yourself...

Ill_Land599

This is exactly my hope.... that he entered the drainage pipe within a couple hours of leaving the day home and was unconscious soon after. It is heartbreaking to imagine how afraid and alone he was but I hope he didnt suffer.

Ill_Land599

You didnt use the metro in Montreal??

Ill_Land599

Buzzz all the way

No forward movement progression

Ill_Land599

Im guessing she was an athlete... likely multiple sports especially when young.

Those who's bodies understand movement and proprioception will pick up the sport quicker than those of us who are lacking :)

The Feminist Survival Podcast with Emily and Amelia Nagoski! It’s my favourite - very much not chatty or shouty. They speak calmly with clear structure and a lot of actual substance. Emily and Amelia are identical twin sisters and their conversational rapport is appealing and easy to listen to.

Emily is a health educator and researcher with a PhD (best known for writing Come As You Are and Burnout: The Secret to Unlocking the Stress Cycle). Amelia has a Doctorate in Musical Arts and is a professional conductor and music professor.

The podcast started late 2019 as a way to survive the "special kind of terrible that will be 2020" (keeping in mind this was BEFORE the onset/massive impact of COVID). They focus on how to help people understand how stress works, why burnout happens, and how to survive hostile systems without blaming yourself. The content is mostly neuroscience, physiology, psychology, and social context... not pop culture or celebrity crap.

Both Amelia and Emily have talked openly about being late-diagnosed autistic (diagnosed after the podcast started).

I absolutely love this podcast :)

Envy is all you need to start! I am a few years into disc golf now and I wish that I had started with an Envy as my sole disc.

Ask them out! When I was dating online I was not interested in weeks of messaging without finding out who was on the other end. I preferred first dates that were inexpensive (or free!) and didnt have the expectation of being together for hours.

I would suggest meeting for coffee or a walk. If they were not interested or didnt suggest an alternative I would just just assume they were not truly interested in me and move on.

2nd for Deerfoot Spay & Neuter. Excellent care and do not push for extravagance. Very highly recommended.

Ill_Land599

At that temp I would think gloves would bin under unless of course your line of would prevent it which it probably does :)

Middle class families cannot afford private school in Alberta. It is literally tens of thousands of dollars.
