Thank you!

Imaginary-Course5865

Yeah, thanks. I think that's consistent with some of what I'm reading. It's hard to know.....

Imaginary-Course5865

Hey there - yes. I'm on Slynd. and aware of angeliq. I think I'm already in menopause? as I haven't had a period for a year. But it's hard to say because, well, I'm on slynd and we don't know what my fsh looked like before. Also, my fsh is artificially low because my prolactin is high due to another med. I would love to give angeliq a shot but I need more estrogen than it offers - I'm on 2.5 mg.

Imaginary-Course5865

Right? He offered me sublingual progesterone which isn't proven to protect against endometrial cancer when combined with estrogen. So I'm like how is this a better deal than a progestin?

Imaginary-Course5865

Thank you! I'm on testosterone supplimentally and my levels are fine? but I don't think they are great. I think I'll give the oral norethindrone a shot.

Imaginary-Course5865

I'm interested in angeliq but the estrogen is low? it's basically 1 mg and I'm on the equivalent of 2.5 mg now with the gel and patch that i'm on. So it seems like a bit of a gamble?

Imaginary-Course5865

Yep. That's what I was thinking!

Imaginary-Course5865

Thank you!

Imaginary-Course5865

Angeliq was suggested to me. It's so scary to try anything new. I realize I'm looking for suggestions. And I will consider all of them. But man, it's like the devil you know.....

Imaginary-Course5865

No. Made me suicidal, unfortunately

Imaginary-Course5865

I thought you couldn't provide dosages on reddit?

Imaginary-Course5865

Yes. Mirena made me suicidal!

Imaginary-Course5865

Thank you. Sorry for my delay in reply. Yes, I think I might try the switch. I was getting low (i thought) on oral micronized progesterone. But I don't know that slynd is better? It seems like I'm having depressio on days 1-17 of what would be my cycle (if I got a period) and then start to imrpove after that.......

Imaginary-Course5865

Sorry it took me so long to reply to this. I think it may be the progestin? because of when the depression hits. I'm getting low during days 1 through 17. I start to feel better during the luteal phase and onward. Which is when progesterone is naturally rising, I think? This seems to indicate that I'm not estrogen deprived, per se, yeah?

Imaginary-Course5865

I have. Thanks

Imaginary-Course5865

Man, I feel like this NP really doesn't know what she is talking about. She would be the SEVENTH one that I've seen at this place.

Imaginary-Course5865

Sorry. I meant NO placebo pills. So no period. And yes, I still feel like I have luteal crap. And some months, I feel like I have symptoms in the days after when a period would have ended. So the first ten days of my cycle.

Imaginary-Course5865

I mean, wouldn't be the first time she said something that sounded now quite right......
