Several months into owning this bike what do you think? Im looking at one of these, seems like a great value! Would you buy it again?

I don't disagree but I wish the Transalp had tubeless tires, cruise, and heated grips

These are the two bikes in stock, near me, that fit my budget and riding style. I've been riding for about 3-4 years and have ridden over 10k miles doing adventure touring and moto-camping. Im looking for something with cruise control, more power, heated grips and tubeless tires around the $10k price ranger. I ride 70% paved 30% offroad mostly gravel, and dirt roads nothing technica.

Yeah it looks awesome, im trying to decide if the extras $4,000 is something I could swing for the 950...

Awesome thanks for the reply, super helpful! This is really similar to the kind of riding that I do currently and hope to continue to do. Im considering the 800e in hopes of being able to handle long stretches of highway better than the Royal Enfield scrambler I currently have, but also want to make sure that whatever I buy next is reliable and durable

Looking at buying one of these bikes myself! How do you like it so far? How did it hold up on the 4000 mile trip? Has it been reliable?

How does the cruise control do? Does that hold consistent uphill/downhill?

Good points, I do like both the Africa Twin and Tiger 900, I would have to look for something a couple years used likely and and AT without the DCT preferably

How have you liked the Transalp? Does it handle dirt/gravel well? Highway miles good?

I actually love the V85tt in terms of looks and features! How are they in regard to reliability? I dont have a Guzzi dealer close but I've read the maintenance is pretty simply

Oh I didnt realize they are tubed! that and the lack of cruise control feels odd for this bike, those two features I think would have made the choice for me in the favor of the Transalp

haha Ironic i know, but im open to solving the non-negotiable with aftermarket solutions, I just cant afford to have the price of all the aftermarket stuff go crazy high. I have thought about a used F900 gsa or Tiger 900 Rally Pro

Yeah good points, I live in South Dakota, so its a mix of highways to get to cool places, and then dirt and gravel roads, I dont plant to do a BDR or anything on this bike

The ibex 950 I think would be a great fit actually! I asked my local dealer and he's not sure when they are getting them in. There's also the reality that is $3-4k more than I can find the 800 for
