Well, there are many of us who play on controller, some of the fastest guys online are using controllers quite effectively. Don't discourage people from getting the game due to controller vs. wheel, they both work. I can't speak about the experience using a wheel because I don't have one... so I can only speak from experience using a controller.

1080p into and Asus monitor, if you're running 4K maybe that's a problem. It might be worth jumping in to the PMR discord and seeing if anybody can help, lots of friendly people willing to help.

Interesting, I'm using Series X and it runs butter smooth.

just thought I'd share some input from an actual user, not a troll : "So just had a race on my Xbox series X with Moza setup and I had the best Racing Experience against the historic V8s I have had in Sim Racing for over 10 years playing all sorts from ACC to Rfactor 2 to P cars 2. The Racing in this game is amazing"

Steam stats don't include XBox or Playstation users... and that's the majority of PMR players at this point.

Nobody is playing? More and more people are taking a chance on PMR and being pleasantly surprised (based on their comments in the PMR discord), and on most nights there are dozens of custom lobbies with people racing... there is a notable upward trajectory compared to a couple of months ago. Comparing player counts in PMR to other sims that have been established for years is unfair.

I don't consider my purchase a waste of money, and I'm not on here to convince you of anything, posts like yours need to be balanced with some perspective of someone who actually uses PMR regularly, If it was that bad I wouldn't waste my time.. I'd go back to ACC...

Actually, Ihe GT3/GT4's just got reworked and I can tell you that the GT3's feel very good. To say that they feel "horrible" is way out of line as of version 2.3. Just look up some YouTube reviews of 2.3 and I think you'll see that the general opinion is that they feel great, and don't need any further updates because they're that good. A far cry from "horrible".....

I think most Americans, at least in your border states, consider Canadians to be like first cousins, I don't think you need to worry about visiting.

If you go to the PMR discord there are recently created mod channels, you might be pleasantly surprised to see what's in the works...

I think the ship may be turning around and heading back to the dock... custom lobby counts were quite large last night (US East Coast), and the PMR discord is humming with lots of new people. Hopefully "Build it and they will come" applies here.

It's kind of normal right now, many people drop out once they realize they're not going to place well, or if they wreck. I'm quite sure that there are no bots in online races. This is something that some people have asked for in the PMR discord, and there hasn't been a positive response from the devs, so I think it's very low priority at this point.

The latest update rolled out today really shored up GT3/GT4 handling... no surprises anymore, I'd say it's time for you to jump in, I think you'll be glad you did.

I'm on console and I'm still using PMR :)
