Republicans are 100% fear-based. Cowards all the way down. They do nothing without first being very fucking afraid.

Indigocell

It's the shooters they are not okay with. The shootings are just the "price they pay for freedom" or some bullshit.

Indigocell

I just don't see that going over well.

Indigocell

That's the problem, it's simple. Too simple. No one is giving these matchups the consideration they deserve. Literally no one cares about "Captain Canuck." He's an off-brand Captain America and that is a far greater penalty to me. Wolverine is THE iconic Canadian superhero. Everyone knows him. Furthermore, how the fuck does Anne of Green Gables lose to House Hippo? Anne of Green Gables helped shape the concept of shōjo culture in Japan and that continues to be an inspiration to this day. Bunch of unserious goofs.

Once you have to secretly start recording your spouse, that's basically over right? Like the relationship is dead at that point.

Indigocell

A similar thing happened to me except I was pretty confident that I looked like garbage at the time so I am pretty sure they were being ironic.

Indigocell

Oh I know how to solve this! Jack prices up, cancel more shows, greenlight more reality slop, harass existing customers over how many screens they use. That'll fix it.

Anyone that saw his janky build in Elden Ring knew he was a fraud. Stat distribution made no sense, carrying two equipped shields for some reason, no regard for his equipment capacity and just fat-rolling all over the place. Joke.

Indigocell

Agreed. Chopping the climax up into reality show style confessionals was so corny. "No one is asking the right questions! Who were those people?!" Who cares, they had no lines of dialogue, did not participate in the massacre, stood on a table, then left.

Indigocell

Deliberately. It was a choice they made because they were afraid to commit thinking the audience wouldn't "sympathize" with Carrie or whatever. I didn't need her to be sympathetic. I watched the Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, etc. All great shows full of nuanced and sometimes unsympathetic characters. Give the audience more credit.

Indigocell

"THERE WERE OTHER PEOPLE THERE ALL ALONG."

Yeah that was bunk. Teasing that from the very start and then when it finally happens, they basically stood on a table and left. They didn't do shit so why should we care? I thought the show was good right up until the start of episode 8.

Indigocell

That's clearly a typo because later on in the same comment they refer to it as a series that was stretched out and "would have made a good movie". Use your brains.

Indigocell

Reminds me. I still have to finish watching Strange Days. Seems like a cool movie and he looks cool in it.

Indigocell

What was the inciting incident? I know that they always said it was about "ethics in video game journalism" so what was the allegedly unethical thing that happened to kick off all of this?

Indigocell

Democrats will not even commit to removing Trump's tariffs. In fact, the Biden admin left many of his tariffs in place. Democrats are not our friends either. They're just less rude about it.

Indigocell

She laughed so hard she ran out of breath and just kind of laughed silently, lol.

The Western Roman Empire only lasted about 500 years. Just to put that into a human perspective.

Indigocell

I'm inclined to respect it more when they just own it like that. Don't pretend, it's beneath us.

Indigocell

You would have lost your life and probably your children's lives, Non Wick.

Indigocell

How are they supposed to even come back into society not fucked up?

That's the neat part. If you didn't have some sort of mental illness or anxiety disorder going in, you probably will coming out. It's known.

Indigocell

"This is how things are now! ... But maybe not how things should be."

Indigocell

Because Texas summers can get as hot as 40°C (105°F - 110°F) during heatwaves and prisons are poorly ventilated.

Indigocell

That particular fungus is also the inspiration behind the "zombies" in The Last of Us.

Indigocell

What do you think happens to the domesticated goat when it's humans are no longer around to take care of it? That baby goat is getting eaten by the local wildlife almost immediately. It's totally defenseless.

Indigocell

Maybe. I loved it as a kid, still loved it when I rewatched as an adult many years later.
