Not really. The character is kind of racist to begin with: a white woman is transferred into the body of an asian woman without her consent.

It's why in the comics now they finally kept Betsy and Kwannon separate.

except that The Boys is significantly better than the unnecessarily edgy comic. A tv series that actual goes in depth on the politics and sociology of capitalistic superheroes is a hundred times better than a comic that dedicates an entire page to a dog being raped by another dog.

The movies barely adapt the comic, only take inspiration mostly.

You can do literally any story where a character comes back to life and apply it to Iron Man. I mean they stole Hank Pyms entire arc and gave it to Iron Man.

The MCU literally has plans up to the next decade and have no signs of stopping.

Bruh we just had an entire movie where the Avengers travel throughout time to stop Thanos and have a climatic battle with every superhero.

Movies are more like the comics than people think.

Yes, 3 is a followup twenty years later. 2 is universally panned and should be avoided at all costs.

I actually watched 3 without seeing the original and its still a great horror film.
