Hi, are those Leds the ones known for green tints? If so then ill definitely choose the other one! Thanks 👍

InterestedHandbag

I do that with my upper body. I also dry off most of my body in the shower so it makes it easier as well.

Awesome! Thank you so much for the info spiley!! I moved to  the cold midwest so im definitely buying more baselayers, socks, and i got tons of handwarmers recently! I also intend to get some tents to use indoors if needed to create smaller zones. Thanks again!

InterestedHandbag

Ah okay, thank you for replying!

InterestedHandbag

Gotcha, thanks for clarifying! Ive also read that volts push and amps pull, so im glad that was mostly correct. Thanks again!

Great point on testing your preps and maintaining them. Thanks!

InterestedHandbag

Hi, thanks for your write up! Can you elaborate a bit on what you have setup for power outages? You mentioned heat being non-electrical? What preps do you have for that? Please share, thanks!

Hi you mentioned having an emergency house... Do you mean another actual unlived in house? If so, i might do that also... Any suggestions? Perhaps another house in an isolated location?

InterestedHandbag

Thank you! And you as well  :)

Hi outback, just wondering what did the above comment say? Do you remember?

InterestedHandbag

I hoped that was the case, unfortunately the manual for this unit mentioned specifically "no oil in unit". Thankfully costco allowed the return.

Hi bruce, im the OP. So just making sure, I'm correct in saying that I can connect more than the allotted 200 watts max, right? Im quite new so have been researching and watching videos... Many people mention "overpaneling" to get closer to the max input wattage, since panels are ineffecient in cloudy/etc. circumstances. So to get 200 watts total input i may need double the panels. Is all of this correct?

InterestedHandbag

200 watt limit is for total input, if its cloudy or overcast out i might need more than 400 watts to achieve that level of wattage. Panels arent perfectly efficient, especially when cloudy

InterestedHandbag

Ah, i mean the first one you mentioned. Basically the edge not as dark. Its a bit disorienting to me to have a huge circle then see nothing on the sides.

Hi, thanks for replying! I do mean the latter, some hotspot, ideally wide, with lots of spill. I do have a very floody light, the Ts22. Im looking gor something with a wide hotspot and good amount of spill ideally a headlamp... And ideally from a budget company like wurkkos or sofirn. Thanks !

Also i really like your pictures of the beams super helpful

InterestedHandbag

Hello, do you know of any headlamps with a similar beam? Wide everything with usable spill? Please advise, thanks!

InterestedHandbag

Got it, thank you for your help!

Personal preparations will always come first in my opinion! You have to take care of yourself first! Make sure you're prepared for a 3 day to a week or longer period, and then think about the community :)

InterestedHandbag

Awesome! I was only prepping one backup, so two total. Im going to be shifting my mindset and prepping three total at minimum. Thanks for your insights

InterestedHandbag

Hi by AC do you mean air conditioning...?

InterestedHandbag

Wow thats a lot of propane! Youre definitely prepared for the biggest of barbeques 😆

InterestedHandbag

Awesome, thank you so much for the detailed reply!!

InterestedHandbag

Thanks ill check it out!
