Meaning whenever I submit a request, it automatically understands my intent and it goes ahead and picks the best model to complete the task.

This is for any device on your phone. The Meta glasses require a companion app to work. You can’t use the glasses without the companion app.

I know you’re trying to say that it’s for the glasses, but it’s not. It’s the Meta companion app that’s committing the crime. The glasses are just a microphone. They have no connectivity to anywhere

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. My company works in the fedramp space.

The IG/Facebook/META applications uses push notifications to enable your mic. Whenever you get a push notification, it turns on your mic temporarily for 30 seconds and records your surroundings. The same with meta glasses.

The X application also does this as well. There’s no regulating body that’s going to stop them, and they’re recording everything 24/7

Edit - in our testing:

it’s a two transaction process. Wake the device first via a push notification.

Once the device is awake, start listening on the mic until the device goes back to sleep.

It’s not the push notification activating the mic, it’s the push notification bringing the device to life life and then they activate the mic

Edit 2 - the meta classes are an example, but don’t focus on the glasses. The meta classes require a companion app. The companion app is the one recording the conversations. Without the companion app the meta glasses can’t upload
