Hi Theresa! I am hoping I can get that feeling too. I came late into this channel awhile ago and I believe I missed whatever deadline there was for Capella students. My most loans are from my masters and when I worked on my PhD at Capella but didn't finish because they claimed I ran put of government money (in 2012) at the time. I am in the IDR/IBR forgiveness plan and my remaining count towards forgiveness says 3 years. So I am not sure if there is anything I can or should do at this point? I would hate to have to pay the high monthly payment thanks to the current administration changing the algorithm...if there is something I can do now. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. 😊

Hi Plumwd! No, I have not applied. I got on the this BD channel late.

A client from work told me about how he applied for BD awhile ago when there was a lawsuit or something going on with Capella University and I was trying to see if I was too late to apply as well. Or should I even apply? He got his loans discharged and I was hoping to get mine discharged through BD, if that is possible, since I also went to Capella.

I have been on IDR forever with Mohela (but it was Navient prior) and with its IDR forgiveness plan, my remaining payment count shows I have 3 years left before I reach 300 when my loans will be discharged.

I was just hoping if there was anything solid I could do now, that I may have missed in this BD channel, would be so helpful. Thanks!

Congrats! What is post class, exhibit C school mean?

I went to Capella University and my loans are scheduled to be discharged in 3 years under the IDR/IBR forgiveness plan. But I am not sure if Capella is considered a post class, exhibit C school and do I need to apply for the BD (so hopefully my loans are forgiven sooner than 3 years)?
