dynamic pricing can make twenty one pilots quite expensive in countries that allow it, but i dont live in one of those fortunately - i think their actual price last tour of about €90, while expensive, is actually pretty reasonable for the absolute show they put on. i saw a lot of people complaining about $300 tickets, though, which is much more than i would be able to spend.
on the other hand, i paid just €15 to see bears in trees again in february! i wouldve been very happy to pay at least double that price, but you will also never catch me complaining about cheap-ass shows ;)

"iene miene mutte, tien pond grutten, tien pond kaas, iene miene mutte is de baas." for the short, universal part. you can end it there, but theres plenty was to extend it; the version i grew up with is "maar de baas, die was niet thuis, want hij lag in het ziekenhuis. drop, drop, drop, flikker jij maar lekker op."
pt. 1: iene miene mutte (no meaning), ten pounds groats, ten pounds cheese, iene miene mutte is the boss.
pt. 2: but the boss wasnt at home, because he was in the hospital. liquorice/drop (the verb) x3, you just go and fuck off.

at some point i had those “oops! im naked” dreams so often that one night, instead of feeling embarrassed or exposed or whatever, i was just… tired of it. the only reaction i had was “jesus christ, again?!” after that, they became significantly less frequent, and now i have to be physically naked when going to bed to have one of those.
other than that, my dreams are way too weird to have an ounce of consistency between them im afraid.

unless its a young crowd/person (tend to be nicer and more respectful ime), dont even bother to ask or argue - take up as much space as possible beforehand, subtly try and shuffle back in front of them if they succeeded, dance into them during the show if theyre still bothering you, etc. be a bit of an asshole yourself, youve earned it for putting up with those types of people for too long! if youre there with someone else, get them to stand between you and the annoying person and push them away. do whatever you have to to get more comfortable. - signed, not the shortest, but definitely one of the lightest at every show ;)

im way too young for that - ive instead felt weird being the youngest at a show or festival thats not just a literal child that got dragged along by their parents, or more frequently felt self-conscious about my (almost 60 yo) mom being my go-to concert partner. ive come to just not give a shit! everyone is there for one thing, and thats to enjoy a fun night out. the only way to be perceived as "weird" is if youre clearly not enjoying yourself.

approximately in order:
twenty one pilots (2025). it definitely helps that this was probably the concert i was the most excited and hyped for (so far), but these guys also simply know how to really put on a show. tyler also ran right past me after the last song, so its not a night i could forget anytime soon.
the happy fits & bears in trees (2024). this was a joint tour - within the eu, the happy fits was the official headliner, and in the uk (maybe ireland if they went as well) it was bears in trees. bears in trees is one of if not my absolute favorite band and i also really enjoy the happy fits, so this was a very fun lineup for me. i was out of the country right when they were here, so the added travelling definitely makes it that much more of a unique and fun experience.
hozier (2023). besides being absolutely incredible live, this was a month before unreal unearth came out, and so i got to experience what would soon become my favorite song in general live before it was even officially released.
jason isbell (2024). this was the first (and only, though that will change in just under 2 months) concert i attended on my own, in a city that i had only been living in for 3 months. i talked a bit with the guys next to me (a father and son duo) in the queue and at the barrier, and they helped me get a setlist afterwards. i was pretty nervous beforehand about going alone, but as it turns out, that wasnt necessary at all.
half•alive (2025). my dad loves to drag my brother and i along to concerts and festivals, so for his birthday, i decided it was my turn to drag him along for once. this is the type of band that is so much better live. there was a whole-ass dance break!

I just love it when students 1-star school apps into oblivion, especially the funny text part thingys that can come with them. Am sad to say I couldn't find many funny comments on this one; most just said "school".
3.5/5 for this raid, could've been more effective and funny.

It really depends on the languages you already speak. Every language has its easy parts and hard parts. English spelling is fucked up, Tsez has 64 cases, Dutch d/t/dt, Japanese uses 3 writing systems etc. French has a lot of words which you pronounce the same, but 1. most of those are the same verb, just conjugated, 2. you don't say sentences like this every day and 3. context. For me, German is easier to learn than Finnish, because I speak 2 Germanic languages. But for Estonian people, Finnish would be easier than German because Finnish and Estonian are Uralic. Italian people probably find it easier to learn French than I do.
