I was young, dumb and didn't know how to let go of a dead and abusive relationship.

I was 19yo and 2years into my first "real" relationship with a 21yo guy. He was very jealous, controlling and abusive (verbal, mental and physically). He used to accuse me of cheating all the time, when that would never cross my mind, and tell me he would kill himself is I left him when I tried to break up.

Well, turns out me and my befriend ended up falling in love, we were both waiting for the breakup and one drunk day we got tired of waiting. That gave me the strength to actually leave that relationship even through the threats and start a healthy on a few weeks later (I didn't want to rush anything after the last one and was still a bit shaken. He waited patiently).

17 years later and I'm still happily with my partner in crime.

EDIT: Oh, and it turned out he was the one cheating on me the whole time, for 2 years straight. What a surprise, right?

Girl you are not three months pregnant. If you were you wouldn't be starting this kind of dumb shit, or you are extremely dumb yourself and in that case, you shouldn't even be reproducing.

I have struggled with this all my life, tried everything. Stimulants, magnesium, meditation, white noise, lots of exams, and what finally helped was a micro dose of antidepressants before sleep (1/4 a pill of the smallest dose of mirtazapine available). It has no other apparent effect apart from waking up actually rested and ready.

Even though i never had issues falling asleep, my brain works so much at night that it would exhaust me. This just tells him to chill a bit and rest.

We usually feel overwhelmed, anxious or under pressure pretty easily, but we are much more resistant to it than others.

I start to feel anxious about something way before others do. They need more to be affected while i am already preparing for the worst. Once shit hits the fan, everyone panics while i keep on going with my previous level of anxiety. It makes me able to drive complicated situations to safety.
