Did we, though? Aaron Hernandez (not the whole team) murdered someone. It was wrong, he was caught, and ultimately took his own life. You won't find me supporting it or suggesting somehow that others wrongdoings make his OK.

They supported Winston through the rape accusation and ran the alleged victim off campus. I sometimes wonder how they felt about that when the groping accusation came out and Winston settled with the accuser.

OP, you don't have to wait for the exam to take her to get scanned for a chip. As a vet tech of nearly 2 decades, I can't tell you how incredibly common it is for someone to just walk in saying they found a pet and asking if we can scan for a chip.

With that said, don't go in with the expectation that they will take the cat for you, or see you right away. But if you just want to see if there is a chip and see if you can get in touch with the owners, you should definitely walk in to your nearest clinic. If you don't have a carrier, you could even head to a clinic first and tell them the situation and ask if they have a cardboard carrier you can purchase. My clinics have never charged very much for them, if we charged at all (again, don't expect this).
