I’d practice on both personally. We have slow and fast boards locally where I play. You want to be prepared for all possible outcomes although I would say no ACL tournament or high level tournaments I’ve ever been to have had fast boards. They usually trend towards the slower side

It’s crazy how much your competition level can change the way you throw. Against back yard players I’m happy to throw a 6-7 because I’m scoring a lot anyways. Bump to a competitive person and I can match them 8-9. Such a great game.

I have played with devastators, scavengers, and tyrants as well. Titan seems to make a nice bag! I have never thrown dead heads I may have to check them out. They came out with the tyrant and I think it’s pretty similar in speed but I’ve thrown both and definitely prefer the fullness of the grizzlies. I’ll have to give it a look
