If it’s not in a hotel sure it’s fine

Jakewadewood

Aware of T&C but restaurant themselves don’t charge under the accepted AMEX name that’s required to receive bill credit. Just bizarre lol

Jakewadewood

Hahahahahaha

Jakewadewood

mostly there for the drinks, have been before, super fun spot. overpriced but moderately luxurious

Jakewadewood

LOL. Yeah save yourself the trouble

Jakewadewood

Yeah agreed about the agent thing. Im always respectful but firm, really frustrating though. Def gonna cancel after this first year

Jakewadewood

Super underbaked. Really awfully done and surprised at lack of forethought and coordination btwn amex and the accepted restaurants...

Jakewadewood

Yeaaaa haha. Will provide an update on my post once done

Jakewadewood

I am now required to retrieve proof of this through an email... I dont know why I have to do AMEX's job for them. Its absurd I need to pay $800 yearly to then have to battle support for something that should be sorted

Jakewadewood

They;re refusing to give dining credits bc statement doesnt match up with restaurant name. Even though restaurant literally does not ever bill you as the restaurant name - they only bill as the hotel

Jakewadewood

lol this just happened with me at Library Bar in toronto. Speaking with AMEX support and theyre next to useless. Trying to escalate now...

Jakewadewood

Thanks for listening!!!

Jakewadewood

noo additional bill it was like 675 CAD around for nomad + folio case + push pen

Jakewadewood

Bought one in Toronto, didn’t have to pay anything more than what I paid online

Jakewadewood

oh interesting… is that the case with the first term?

Jakewadewood

Happy cake day!

Jakewadewood

Very good point as well. TY!

Jakewadewood

you’re doing free labour! I appreciate any answer here hahahaha

Jakewadewood

That is all I was looking for, thank you sir!

Jakewadewood

Thanks TJ, yeah liquidity isn’t too big a deal I’m more wondering if it makes sense to wait until closer to August, or pay it right now since I already have the money, which benefits me more?
