Louis CK had a great bit about how "Fucking idiot. I hope he fucking crashes" is something you'd never say about someone in normal civilized life but get in a car and it's absolutely normal to think this about someone who cut you off and made you have to break a little.

Ok

Pwned, even.

Increase fares, longer delays, more crackheads, fix the distorted audio on the Line 5 announcements.

God can we cut out this bootlicking for someone's degrees? It's so cringe. Harvard educated graduates have taken countries into wars, overseen austerity, drone strikes, and more. Praise someone's actions not their degrees. The last 25 years have shown that credentialism was a joke.

I'll never understand why people walk around, notice something completely mundane and anecdotal and feel the need to ask their city's subreddit about it.

They need to become a party that people can imagine leading, making hard decisions, steering the ship of the country. Right now they really only portray themselves as the party that empathizes and will "fight for marginalized groups". That's nice but to lead a country you need more than just empathy. God knows if my parents only ever empathized and did no leading, our household would have been a mess.

I think this is very general and hard question to answer and while I don't have an answer (I'm not an expert) I do think it's a great question to pose.

Parliament's been closed for months during one of the most fraught times in modern Canadian history because of the Liberal party's decision. But somehow CPC are the ones unwilling to engage in parliament? I don't like PP nor do I like the Liberals but I don't know how some of you people say things like this without any second of self reflection.

Jamarac

Ur cool

Jamarac

Hilarious "analysis". Yes, associate your self *more* with the part of the left that's the least relatable and least reflective of the average Canadian. That'll do the trick!

This is one issue where I feel like I disagree with the average person I know. If it gets allowed in all stores, great. If it doesn't I also don't care. The world won't end because I can't get a drink as easily as possible at all times from anywhere. Get your ass to a LCBO/Beerstore by the 9pm close or if you want to shop a bit later go to one of the tons of breweries that sell beers to-go as late as 11pm. That to me has been perfectly flexible enough throughout most of my adult life.

I don't have an answer but I'm also very interested in the logistics of big expeditions and travel in the pre-industrial era. It's something rarely talked about in history classes and documentaries. Would love recommendations on this topic.

As if anyone in Ottawa isn't acting like a child or making stupid,child-like decisions daily. I'll never understand why journalists think this kind of criticism lands with anyone.

It's not odd at all. People have been screwed over in a lot of ways by policies from the federal government (not just federal of course) and that has left them desperate for anything different. It's not any more complicated than that. I don't see anything "odd" about it.

Take a few classes.
