Just like all the tourists who miss flights in every other city that has multiple airports across the world.
I'm sure people can figure out how to look up airport codes
JarredMack
So make a Rogue then if you don't want to tank? Why roll a hybrid and then complain that you get asked to change your role to suit the group, which is the whole point of a hybrid?
JarredMack
I feel like I would also have some monstrous violence captured on CCTV if I saw someone doing this to my children
JarredMack
Each creature is an individual instance, so you can get more than 1 trigger per turn, but yes
JarredMack
Yeah, the people suggesting this shit have obviously never had to try to organise transfers off a shit server. You're going to lose a good third of your roster in the process, and then you have to try to fill those holes on the new server as a guild nobody there has heard of
JarredMack
This change however is the exact opposite and I have a hard time not believing that there is something they are hiding and that’s the main reason why they did the xp nerf.
It is genuinely just that they have a bunch of developers making decisions, and developers are terrible at figuring out the why of a problem. The problem is that none them have sat down to think about whether this is actually a problem that needs solving, and instead jumped into "oh we can fix that"
JarredMack
It still baffles me that they haven't sat down to think about why they're trying to solve this "problem". What does it matter if some sweats cleave to 60? Plenty of people quested their way to 60 before despite quest starvation, and now they've fleshed out the world way more so that there's no need to do dungeons to fill the gaps if you don't want to. Who cares if a few sweats do dungeons instead? How does that impact anyone else?
JarredMack
Hey mate, I got shared this post and yep we are indeed going to be playing! I tried to DM you but it's blocked, send me a message and I'll give you a disc link
JarredMack
What happens when you spin up a hundred layers continent wide instead, then go to Westfall or something where there's only enough players to fill a few layers? Do you just zone people into a hundred separate ghost towns, or do you make sure each zone has a reasonably-sized population to feel alive?
It's jarring for stuff like this when you leave a city, and hopefully they come up with a solution (honestly just attach the starting zone to the city shard and it's probably fixed), but it's not as simple as spinning up a whole continent layer
JarredMack
It's a pretty fragile combo that requires a lot of clicks, so it's both not very good and unfun to use in digital format. I suspect we see it go again next iteration
JarredMack
Honestly I suspect the curator didn't notice that it was legendary, because I don't know what the card does otherwise
JarredMack
Ah right my mistake, 4 wins. It's still pretty doable, and 3 wins is still a 500 gem net cost
JarredMack
I don't get why they added Ad Nauseum but cut the storm stuff, doesn't make much sense. There's a few questionable additions on the list but overall there's a bunch of stuff that's very welcome to come to arena
JarredMack
You only have to get 3 4 wins to get (most of) your money back, it's pretty easy to go semi-infinite
JarredMack
Baloth Prime?! Aww yiss!
JarredMack
Could you translate that to casual-ese? The "grounding auto" part anyway, the rest makes sense lol
Edit: Oh, I assume he killed a grounding totem with succubus auto, I was confused thinking you were talking about the lock mirror
JarredMack
I'd recommend doing it as a mod rather than directly modifying the config files. You just need to put the path in a file with the same name, i.e. make a file named entityclasses.xml and have <path name="whatever"><property name="AITask" ..></property></path> and stick it in your mods folder. That way it will survive patches etc, at least until they change the paths and break the mod
JarredMack
And I fucking guarantee there will be no premades because of that.
Nope, premades just all separate queue at the same time instead. This just makes it slightly more hoops and less likely that they'll match other premades
JarredMack
Cool, it's been a while since I healed
JarredMack
Nothing, just like sword spec and axe spec weren't homogenous, yet here we are
JarredMack
threat and incoming damage/healing predictions
JarredMack
Their stated goal of keeping everything balanced within a few % basically requires homogenisation and is why a lot of retail classes end up feeling like the same thing. It's difficult to balance asymmetric classes/races and much easier to just make them all do the same thing and change some numbers, so the tendency will be for them to just do the latter over time so people don't whinge about the differences
JarredMack
This is just blatantly not true but Reddit hates parsing so go off mate
JarredMack
It's just another case of them removing friction in the name of QOL but actually damaging the game in the process. This is a "nice" change in that it will remove a lot of headaches in forming your raid comp, but that's part of what makes the classes feel unique and part of what makes the game feel like an RPG. Each piece of the puzzle they remove like this just makes the game that little bit more bland
Yeah this isn't even close to how 2019 felt. I'm super keen for forever but I think OP has just found themselves in more of an echo chamber than last time
