Exactly! The 5 of us who downloaded the game 4 millions times each, which never fails to impress me every time I think about such an achievement 🙂

Oh and, the battle pass is 10€ per pass, and only adds cosmetic stuff to the free pass. You cannot buy the in-game currency with real money, and nearly everything in the game uses this currency which means, in case you’re a bit slow, that you cannot use real money to buy anything that’s not solely cosmetic. You would probably know that if you played the game for more than 5 minutes, but seeing how you called it « slop », my guess is that you’re a kid, which means attention-span is probably a difficult thing for you, so no hard feelings!

I mean, I’m biased towards Nintendo because I love the Switch and the Pokémon franchise, so take that with a grain of salt, but compared to the other « big two », I find that they aren’t doing too bad. I know that comparing something to something else that’s worse doesn’t magically make the first thing good, and Nintendo is obviously not perfect but at this point I stopped hoping for anything remotely close to perfection a long time ago and I’m mostly fine with how they operate nowadays, even if there is the occasional « why tf did they do that ». It could be that I’m just too cynical about it.

I would bet anything they really don’t give a fuck about the intellectual property and only defend it here because the project used AI in any capacity and hating AI is the only thing they can barely do properly in their miserable lives.

I don’t usually post for that, but seeing how negative, unhinged and toxic most people are here, I just want to let you know I’m impressed by what you did and really happy you want to keep this game alive. Don’t feel ashamed by the fact you used AI, it’s obvious you knew what you were doing and even if you did not and just let the AI build on your idea, it’s still yours, you’re the one who had this idea, and you led the project to what it is now, the AI didn’t prompt itself but apparently that’s hard to grasp for the children here, and most importantly, you’re doing that while some others are just spending their time being miserable pieces of shit here, dogpiling on you hoping you stop, but working on that is always better no matter the amount of AI assistance, because you at least have something to show and to be proud of at the end, and it all came from your original idea.

It’s incredibly funny to see you all suddenly care about things like piracy or using assets from an IP which was never an issue before, but since you decided that AI is the ultimate sin, you just flip the morality switch on everything else, suddenly piracy is very bad, or now modding is really not okay because Square « owns » the code. But if we remove AI from the equation, then suddenly all is good? Y’all are insane.

I mean, your comment is essentially what googling « what are the most generic arguments against AI » would display, you’re just parroting the same shit you all keep repeating without ever citing a proper source and most importantly without ever simply minding your own fucking business. What did you accomplish in life that makes you think you can shit on someone proudly showcasing their mod like that? I never see any of you showing anything you made, which is interesting. However you’re there without fail whenever you feel like you can harass someone and telling them they should have made it without any AI assistance. But where is your no-AI project? Surely you have something to show right? It can’t be you just acting like a big guy to hide the fact you’re nothing, right?

You should stop using Reddit then, after all it heavily uses datacenters, actively supports AI and disrupts communities by allowing people like you to bully, harass and run witch-hunts on others simply because they chose to use a specific tool you don’t like, which in turn affects their mental health.

It’s just because disclosing it has always been a way for them to easily target and bully someone, and this further proves it, not that it was even necessary.

Very « interesting » how a lot of positive comments and/or ones that don’t care about AI usage (as would any normal person) are all downvoted. And then we’re supposed to believe the anti-AI movement is not entirely based on bullying others.
