Everyone has their own idea of what the perfect squad is for a survival. One thing you can't tell is what builds other people have. Sometimes it's not about success, it's about what's fun.

While you may well get through every round of a nightmare survival with four medic ronins. It will be a slog every step of the way. On the other hand, ploughing through it with four stone skipping hunters is just... well... not fun. It's true that some people are prima donnas and want to be the only ronin or samurai. But really it's just about finding that mix that's fun. So don't take it personally.
