Something little that has really helped with our kids room.

Accept there is junk they want to keep. But give them a tub for it. So it's not in bookshelves, on the floor, pouring out of bags etc.

It's a version of a place for everything, but it's accepting we all want to hold on to things that don't have an obvious place.

Something something capitalism, something something efficient allocation of resources.

Fed up by both sides is code for "I'm a racist and am just looking for cover to vote for a racist."

I'm sorry but anyone who voted one nation because "they're all crooks" while Hanson is taking millions from Gina is a racist and I'll loudly die on this hill.

JollySquatter

Also the RBA. Oh no, how can we tame the inflation monster.....

JollySquatter

It's not like the account states it's a collection of short stories.

It's definitely manipulated to make people feel like it's a real story.

JollySquatter

Sure I love a good story, when it's being sold as a story. I have a story that's being sold as the news.

They are 2 totally different things. One is enjoying art, the other is being manipulated.

Can anyone confirm if these post types are real or just a new type of AI slop? I'm getting a lot of them in my feed lately.

Tale as old as time. I used to visit Whirlpool every 3-4 years to find the new good ISP. The last good one got too big, so their service levels and customer service suffered. So you just switch to the current one that was like them 3 years ago.

Rinse, repeat.

Wait, dial of destiny? I thought it was fantastic and a perfect pallet cleanser to that abomination Crystal Skull.

JollySquatter

I feel like using the phrase "model collapse" is a perfect way to describe the future with AI.

JollySquatter

Way worse. Just anecdotal, but the amount of days young kids are playing rep sport in the USA compare to other countries is insane.

My dad was always the type of person who thought financial security was beyond him. That his stone was cast in life and while he might be able to play around the edges by and large he was always going to be poor middle class.

Then he married someone who knew about money and how to make it work for you. In 15 years he'd saved enough to retire about 8 years earlier than he ever dreamed of.

I'm not saying Stewart is wrong, I'm just saying most people are more in control of their financial situation than they think.

JollySquatter

It was really good. Then they pivoted from small business to enterprise

It's a cultural wasteland. The only way to save this is one of or both of these things.

  1. Get one of the outer unis to move or open a big campus there. One of the monashes, but maybe Deakin or Swinburne.

  2. Council or Vic gov to buy a heap of commercial properties and rent at a loss for non big chain stores. Get some culture in there.

I need to lie down, I'm agreeing with Lebron James.

JollySquatter

Nothing. But the reading I did, I found a case where VCAT denied a build of a carport because it would shadow on the neighbours yard. So you can try your luck.

We got some design concessions so didn't go nuclear.

JollySquatter

I have no idea how he has fallen out of the side. Especially everytime I see Henry (who I love) being out-led by Gunston and his type.

I will die on this hill. It is not the same percentage as general population. MAYBE for the same age earning the same money. But even then, you would also need to add the "and the employer turns a blind eye to it unless it's reported in the news" filter, in which case you're left with real-estate agents, legal, finance and who else.  What other occupation has 24 year Olds earning 250k a year?

JollySquatter

All schools in our area, primary and secondary the teachers go by their first names.

Knew he was coming back as soon as I saw Hammer running for state politics.

She only lost to Ryan by 1500 votes, which would normally mean automatic preselection to go again. Well normally unless you're the self destructive libs that is.

JollySquatter

Literally chuckled out loud at this, well played.

JollySquatter

This 100%

I think this stuff has happen lots in the past and the club never cared, so he's upset he's being punished because it's in the press, not because of what he did.

JollySquatter

Still have a long way to go before they get to NBA levels.

Blakey seems to have no hesitation going nuclear. If the AFL force an end to his career, watch him go full deep throat (pun intended) and talk about how what they did at the Pullman was a typical weekend at the Swans, and every other club out there.

He's not upset that he wasn't doing anything..he's upset that it happens every weekend and he's was hung out to dry.

Blakey will 100% be playing next year.

The 90s were amazing for TV. Just the right amount of crazy shit that should never have worked but we all kinda just connected with so many shows.
