I was in Arizona, and watched Ground Zero on TV for 7 hours straight. I know people who were there who did not fully know what happened because they were in the middle of it, only learning about much of the details from watching news coverage. 9/11 also didn't just happen at Ground Zero, there were 2 other plane wrecks connected to it.

NTA. Leave him. Don't ever let a man treat you like an inconvenience. You have your own life and responsibilities, you must ask yourself what he is adding to your life other than more responsibility and stress.
Also ask yourself why a 26 year old male needs Viagra to perform. Whether due to medication, medical condition, or porn addiction he needs to work on himself too before getting into a sexual relationship when he's in an abnormal condition. Occasional Viagra to make the night last longer is one thing, needing it every time is concerning. And to expect you to supply what he needs to enjoy sex is ridiculous.

You are not showing off your intellectual superiority, you are only showing how limited your intellect really is. Why are you trying to use a term coined before the formation of the independent states to perpetuate the flawed logic that the label adopted and used continuously for the last 200+ years is wrong?

Mexican born are Mexicans, Spanish born are Spanish, why are you not calling Spanish born Europeans since that would be equal to calling Mexican born by the continent their from and not the country? Not sure who you're associating with but they sound like elitist snobs. I'm sure they make that distinction to look down upon Mexican born, that's how the Mexi-Euro trash are. Hence giving the 'mixed' name to those with indigenous heritage and treating them as less than.

Your point? They still don't refer to themselves as American because after over 200 years of US residents being referred to as Americans those who are not from the US don't refer to themselves as American.
JuleeeNAJ
I had to do a double take, thought I had opened up my drive for a minute because my picture looks almost the exact same, with people in that same place.
JuleeeNAJ
Call someone from Canada an American. See how well they like that. I have never heard a Canadian refer to themselves as Americans, but I have heard many get upset about being called American.

How dare someone publically express their support for a person's acheivements. I'm so glad no one has felt the need to share to the world my personal acomplishments.
On an alternate note - does your FIL want to adopt me? I'm over 50 but would love a parent who is proud of me and not embarrassed to share that with others.

They were behind my trash can, at first I thought it was 3d printer poop that missed the can, actually. Lol

Not sure of your age, but microfiche has been around for about 100 years. My uncle, who was born in 1932, helped me use it when I was in HS, he learned it when he was in college.

My current and ex husbands did not know. My ex because his ancestors came in the late 1800s through Ellis Island and, as we learned later, changed their last name and left country of origin blank. When the Ellis Island records were put online I found his ancestor. The others who signed before him had a similar name but different spelling, seems he didn't like his family much.
My current husband never really knew, his father's side has been in the southern US for over 200 years, his mom's side no one knows where they came from and most are long dead. Even through genealogy records I couldn't trace it. That's also the side of his family that carries a rare genetic condition of which only 24 diagnosed cases exist since it was identified 10 years ago. Most likely they passed before being able to share information, since the disease usually causes death by 40.

This is insane. As a mother I don't care if it's a stray kid, friend who stayed the night after a celebration, or a hungry animal i care for all of those who are in my house. The only time I stopped cooking for my kids was when they were in their early 20s, working and complained about my food. I told them to make their own, which they gladly did. But I still offered what I made. When my son moved in because he was unemployed and struggling I made sure he ate a healthy meal daily and he always had access to the food in the house. I couldn't fathom my adult son being malnourished, how can you let a child in your home go hungry?
JuleeeNAJ
Parents didn't, child was left in the care of an adult. Too bad the adult didn't realize that.

That's how I got a nice set of cable stripping cutters. I even have a really nice metal round pizza baking pan that was left in a pizza I got years ago.
Just refer to the ancient law as engraved on Mesopotamian tablets: Finders keepers, losers weepers.

So you posted this after I replied to his comment that he's from Brazil and I corrected my answer to Latino?

There should be some level of fear for everyone. Crime doesn't just happen to women. I taught my sons how to check around them at all times, be aware of where others are and what they are doing, always know your escapes. I say its no different than defensive driving. You cant expect everyone else to keep you safe.
At 51 I have developed a keen sense of awareness, I also learned long ago to trust my instincts. Not having a sense of fear is not a bad thing, but its not a good thing either. You have been able to live in a safe world, those of us who have been outside of that bubble know how cruel the world can be and many have learned to guard against it.
JuleeeNAJ
Oh sorry, Latino. Still not an uncommon result for central and south America.
JuleeeNAJ
Sooo you're both Hispanic.

I, like most of the other mothers in my high school class, were all virgins when we got pregnant. A small town full of baby Jesuses.

If i lived close I would, but we were only visiting. If someone was really interested, and wouldn't hurt it, I could point them to the exact location I saw it. I even tried following the trail he left, but it was thick brush and probably not the safest thing to do. I did take pictures of the tracks in the loose sand and some scat nearby.
JuleeeNAJ
I saw it myself, only seen it mentioned online by one other person.
JuleeeNAJ
Are you including that black one in the southeast corner of the state?
JuleeeNAJ
They have been so common in Arizona state hunting regulations have directions on calling off dogs when they tree one.
JuleeeNAJ
I write in American on my census. They stopped giving me the long form.
There was a TikTok about the country song Honkytonk Badonkadonk and I commented how the women in the video did not match the song. Someone responded that 20 years ago white women weren't getting BBLs so they didn't have the big butts. Ignoring that plenty of women had natural bubble butts, but I guess to young people the only way to have a booty is through surgery.
