yes, you can, and then the Quarians are gone. Seeing both in one timeline is only possible with 2\3 endings AND Perfect Rannoch. So, somebody's MET choices would be flushed down the toilet regardless.
Jumpy_Ad_9213
Geth are gone in ALL endings, if you don't have perfect Rannoch (side with quarians).

The real answer is 'because people loved Legion, and fanservice is gold'. It's impossible to tie RGB into single coherent narrative without either enforcing a canon, or dismissing all 3 altogether. E.g. destroy had not destroyed much, control is out there somewhere, so it does not matter, and synth...well, apparently, the DNA mutation did not last long and\or did not involve all the MEU.
The most straightforward way would be to make 'perfect red' a canon (reapers gone, relays are damaged but standing, and some synthetics could possibly survive). They were talking about 'respecting all the major MET choices', but I just can't see how it can be possible.

I don't think it can change much, but I admit, it feels damn good to be reminded of what sort of insanely amazing community the game had built. Reminds me of Hold The Line / Take Earth Back initiative, which was the reason why all the Shepards-that-came-after had Extended Cut instead of vanilla ME3 ending sequence...Not that it changed things a lot, but we did make them listen back then.

I admit, that I might be biased, as a hard 1-2-3 femShenko fan, who only had Horizon, a foto, and a letter in ME2, but I never liked it. The way auto-dialogue flow, the way the cinematics are staged - it's like all of it was written for Liaramancers specifically. E.g. there is a moment, when the blast throws her into Shep's arms? Meh.
I also believe that Liara had too much attention actross the media in general, and it was not exactly deserved. She is really not the kind of 'pillar' character, that could hold the series together, but plot-wise, they had tucked her into each and every possible plot. Her being revealed as a centerpiece of the MEU is the reason why I'm kinda glad that I'm noit going to get even more of her in htat game.
As for the DLCs, I'd say that nothing beats Alchera/Normandy Crash Site. It know it's a minor misson, and nothing as big as Arrival or Shadow Broker, but that was one of THE most emotional ME mometns to me. The level design, the vibes...I remember spending about half an hour just walking around after finding all the tags.
Arrival comes close next, but I hate how not playing it breaks ME2->ME3 transition. Without it, Shep's trial makes much less sense.
I don't like any of ME3 DLCs, and I specifically hate ME3 'buy our DLCs' auto-save. Citadel is the weird example of well-made content with the horrible plot, that does not fit the main story pacing. There is no right time to play it. The content is good, and there's plenty of it, but the story tone was so horribly off, that I wanted to scream at my monitor. ME3 is all about grim-dark war, and we're losing it. Galaxy map going dark, memory wall growing etc...and then they give us a funky comedy comic, about Evil Twin, and it involves fighting Evil with a toothbrush...yeah, thanks, but no. I only played it once, on its release, and I never replayed it. Leviathan explains things that should have never been explained (or, rather, should have been explained during main game, in a coherent matter). Was never interested in Omega.

I believe, you had not seen any signed papers, and even if you had, a signature does not mean that a person was the one to make the descision. No threats or insults towards specific people in their private spaces should ever be tolerated, and that's what you're calling for.
I know how sad many of us are, I'm sad too, because BioWare had been part of my life for 25+ years now, but that's just a wrong way to go. I hope mods agree with me.

See, I understand that they had written themselves into corner with amount of choices. Still, having Geth around potentially ignores both Rannoch choice AND the ending. It's not a good thing, not especially for a game that has setting consistency as part of its DNA. It's 'Somehow, the Geth returned'. They could have left Geth out of the plot entirely. Leaving them in a 'shroedinger plot jail' = no contradictions, but they know how people loved Legion.
Jumpy_Ad_9213
if you side with Quarians, the Geth are wiped long before the pulse.

I don't know your definition of 'smooth', but the floating chars\tables\ragdols are straight out from ME1 biotic animation set. Not to mention that trailer or pre-rendered cinematic scene is not just a bunch of flashy episodes stitched together, it should actually have direction. Good trailers and intros have artistic value 'as is'.
Early Blizzard knew how to nail that. E.g. Diablo 2 and Warcraft 3 worked with prerenders, but those cinematics, even as low-res as they are, still look gorgeous. BW used to know how it works too - try Battle for Ostegar in DAO, or entire ME1 intro. This? A random bunch of episodes, involving Liara as a cheap and awkward nostalgia bait.
ps: the coat looks like one of N7 day chest Veilguard armors.

The way I see it, the believer mages are just accepting their role. I.e. behave themselves, live in Circles, trust Templars to guard and guide them (because they know better).
Jumpy_Ad_9213
I've got mixed feelings about it. The animation looks decent, but 'decent animation' is not what you want to show for a game, that had been brewing for a decade. Dialogue script itself is mediocre at best, and dangerously leans into DAVe territory, and that's even if you ignore the bar fight beginning. Yes, it's all temporary and WIP, but trailer is supposed to represent something. Unless it's a very-very early concept 'pitch' trailer for their internal home use? Then it should be ignored, because its story- and visual values are zero.
We've got ourselves Perfect Red as a canon, apparently, which is fine by me, but we don't know the exact timeline, so it's hard to "stitch" it to MET. The relays are standing, and galaxy-wide travel is avaliable (again?). Could possibly work with a huge time skip (a-la KOTOR, only forwards), but then...there's Liara. I was really NOT looking for another media with Liara, not even as a cameo, because enough is enough. At most, I'd appreciate finding one of her 'time- capsules', but that character had been overused before Andromeda. Cowards, they did not have guts to actually start a real stand-alone-spinoff. Also, I don't believe that asari are supposed to age like that (Benezia and Samara were not young by asari age).
So, am I sad to know, that ME is gone forever into EA abandoned property vault? Yes. It's also possible, that the team could have delivered a good game, given proper time and resources. It's very much doable, if you're focused on a single project, rather than being yanked between multiple projects to fix someone's mess, you know. Still, I don't see anything exciting here. More leaks (and 'leaks') are very likely to follow, so there's a chance that we'll get to know what we've missed in a same way, as we've learned about the scraped Dark Matter MET plot.

Hmm...I like the overal work with lights and textures, but isn't he supposed to be our Kurt more... grizzled compared to Jun?
Jumpy_Ad_9213
Careful with your improvements, because BroJun already looks hotter than our boyz squad! 😅

Ah. And here I was about to post this one. 💪👍
Jumpy_Ad_9213
It's complicated. '6 years in early production' realistically means that people had been pulled to finish\fix Anthem, and then Veilguard. 'All hands on deck to fix the mismanagement gaps, and make it to release' had been BW's standart since before Andromeda (but DAI got lucky, because it had enough fuel to fire up BioWare Magic). According to the most sources, some kind of real work started only after they had shipped DAVe.
Nothing stopps them from actually applying their 'level of autonomy and choice' to a new game project, joining one of the 'exiles' teams, or creating their own. EA owns IP, with all the names, titles, and designs, and coding tools must belong to them too, but no one can stop peope from exploiting their ideas and concepts. E.g. Expanse novels were born from a discarded MMO draft.
I wish them luck, and I'm going to keep an eye on any possible new project, but I don't see any point in teasing that project-that-never-happened. They can either keep posting on X, or salvage what they can, and put it to good use.
Jumpy_Ad_9213
There's a fan-made re-compilation project going on. They're reverse-engineering the game, and the intention is to remake it into something playable on a modern system. They don't use AI, and they deny an outside help, so it's not fast. Last I heard, the progress was around 60%.

Ironically,I've seen ME3LE MP release news just about a week ago (also fan-made, from what I can tell).
As for the Keep, just to make it clear, I was not talking about a mod that sets up your choices within DAI save (there are many), there's a project that is literally making an unofficial 'fork' for a DA:Keep, with all the cards, and tapestry, and import. Reddit name is u/Daimon_Guardian , and I've seen them posting in several threads today already, so the project is not dead, and there's a hope.
Jumpy_Ad_9213
Normally, publisher tends to, well, publish the IPs (unless devs have a magic way to somehow grab the copyrights). E.g. Nacon keeps selling all the Spiders titles after butchering the studio, and EA still owns Ultima.
My most concerns are about Dragon Age Keep, and ME3MP is also risking to go down, but EA are going to sell the IPs as long as they possibly can.
From what I remember, there was a fan-made project, that had practically moved Keep to the alternative service, which was supposed to work as an offline mod, with all the slides, and narration. Not 100% sure about 'offline' part, but they were preparing for a possible 'DA-doomsday'.

I love so many tracks, and there are dozens personal 'goosebumps' little brilliant music moments scattered around, that it is hard to pick just one.
Still, I feel like 'Our Drafts Collide' has a special place in my heart. The way it utilizes all the main themes, the way 'Alicia' strings grow louder in the arrangement, while remains of 'Verso' fade away, and that tiny echo of Aline's tune at the end? It's a masterpiece of musical narrative (and also the reason why I got myself new decent headphones, because listening to all those details in airpods felt like a crime, lol).
Jumpy_Ad_9213
Somehow, I don't think it's possible to show anything meaningful about time dilation in a sloiler-free way. If it's something as big, and important, as they claim it to be, then I'd rather experience it myself, when the in-game moment arrives.
I mean, seeing what someone, whom you can possibly leave behind, looks like 50+yrs later sounds like a big and (possibly) emotional moment, not a marketing short vid fodder. Could be just me, though.

Yep. Sure. The power of one, the power of maaany..... 🤣
Even by DA standarts, it takes two persons of opposite physical gender to concieve a child. Even in Tevinter, with all the unrestricted (blood)magic. I'm glad, that they hadn't. Those were blessed times when they were not sacrificing writing, and common sense, to include something. Also, the characters were still allowed to have their own sexual preferences.
