That’s your baby’s grandparent. Kids can never have too many people who love them. Pick a grandma name that’s a little different than the name you want to use for your own mom and go with that.

There’s a lot of different options online. For brand new babies, I use the rubber band kind. Once they get a little bigger, I use stiff plastic bands that can be opened and closed. I don’t care for the metal rings that can’t be removed easily if necessary, but those are a more permanent option if you want it.

I give mine pelleted food and scratch grains and also let them forage during the warm months of the year and they do well. They occasionally get peas as a fun snack

They’re going to mix them up no matter what. I’d be a lot more concerned about how having the same initials is going to be a pain for them legally later in life.

I would have to write it all out to figure out how many deer I have shot. But I’ve lost a few. One died but was eaten by coyotes before I found it. A couple were non fatal shots that the deer recovered from (confirmed by trail cam pics). A couple I don’t know what happened to them, as I never found them or got evidence that they survived. It always sucks but if you’re hunting long enough, it does happen. You’re doing the right thing by looking as hard as you can before giving up. It’s not a moral failing, hunting is just really hard and sometimes things don’t go perfectly.

If it doesn’t feel right, don’t shoot. It’s called hunting not killing. You got to witness a nice moment in nature, there’s no shame in that. It would have been ok if you decided to take a shot but everyone has different levels of what they’re comfortable with.

The Amish near where I live are genuinely friendly in most interactions I’ve had with them. When I was a teenager going to horse auctions, occasionally one would be creepy to me which is its own thing but they are generally outwardly friendly and polite around here. The problem is they are a cult that abuses animals and their own members. Kids aren’t educated. Women give birth one right after the other and suffer from varicose veins all over their vulvas from being pregnant and standing all the time. They also suffer high rates of uterine and bladder prolapse. Everyone is at the whim of the “elders” of their church. But hey, they make good furniture and good barns so it’s fine, right? /s

I really thought I was gonna agree with this post because the title said “outside” and I’m like yes! Everyone needs to get out in nature and ground themselves and touch grass. But no, you just wanna be partying with people your same age.

I don’t know how I feel about it. I don’t hunt public, only private, but when I was using trail cams regularly, I would share pictures with my neighbors and they would with me too. I wouldn’t ever touch someone else’s trail cams though, even on public land. Even though it’s in a public space, it still doesn’t belong to me. I don’t necessarily think you did anything wrong, but I could also see why the owner of the camera might be annoyed or upset.

For real. I thought this was between people in their early 20’s and was floored when I saw the ages 🤦🏻‍♀️

He needs to be contained somewhere safe and have his wings bound and supported in the proper position if they are broken. You should take him home with you if you can. A vet visit would be good if you have a vet in your area that can see him and the money for it
