After a few moments, he went with the Swords leader, and the Lich undocked, returning to the assault carrier above. That ship then entered Slipspace, carrying the old Sangheili away from his old home.

With a silent nod, 'Tratamee took off his helmet, handing it over to Yu. The rest of Yu's armor would be custom made, but this particular helm had been passed down by the Shipmasters of the Faith's Resolve, protecting generations of those that had commanded the warship. "I know that you will not let me down. By the powers vested in me, I name you Shipmaster of the Faith's Resolve. May she under your command lay waste to our people's foes, and bring honor upon your clan and keep."

'Tratamee stood with a high-ranking leader of the Swords, his head lowered. "It has been... Decided, that my expertise was desired on the front lines against the Remnant. I have indicated my protest, but I have been ignored. As such, I have been ordered to name a successor to lead the Faith's Resolve in my absence, someone I trust to deal with our current crisis as I would myself. You are the only one I trust. Will you accept the position of Shipmaster, and carry out those duties you need?"

'Tratamee observed silently for a few moments. "I see. we must work very quickly if we are to save ourselves. Pull your men away from the infected areas and establish a quarantine. Do not let anyone in that has not been screened for infection through, and should anyone show signs of infection, they should be exterminated and their bodies destroyed."

"What you should start with, is telling me what is happening. Where is your captain?"

His anger apparent, he motioned to Yu to move forward and explain. He still held his energy sword in his hand as he waited.

"What is going on over there, and why in the name of all that is holy have you been feeding the Flood with prisoners!? I have half a mind to glass everything, your ship included if need be. You will explain what happened, now.

Without another word, 'Tratamee opened a link to [Captain Archer](u/gibbypoo). As he waited for the link to connect, he picked up his dropped weapon, fidgeting with the activator, but not quite engaging the weapon. A weapon drawn demands blood.

"WHAT?" Such was the Shipmaster's shock that he dropped the energy sword with which he had been fiddling. Beyond that exclamation, it took him several seconds to find words, and when he did, they dripped with cold fury. "Why, exactly, are they intent upon killing us all?"

'Tratamee continued to study the map, further worry apparent on his face. "This is worse than I expected. What actions are the humans taking to contain the infection?"

'Tratamee stood on the bridge of the ship, concern on his face as his right hand man returned. "What have you found?"

With that concluded, 'Tratamee turned back to the other Elite. "I want you to work with 'Taham when he returns on a solution to the problem of locally dealing with the Flood infestation rather than destroying our own craft. Report to me when you have a plan."

'Tratamee nodded slightly. "Knowledge is an important part of trust. I am curious now. Do enlighten me."

Rather curious himself now, 'Tratamee simply watched. He was content with what he had accomplished, though he felt a burning drive to be on the ground, fighting the Flood.

"This is also a viable option, one that will not cripple us. We shall discuss this further and decide within a day or two."

"What do you suggest then, as a precaution against the spread of the Flood?"

'Tratamee took a few moments to consider the other Elite's words. "Perhaps. I will reconsider, but this is too important to ignore."
