It’s really a perspective thing. They most likely started high initially because of convenience in wanting to heat or cool down something very quickly as technical responsibility is usually synonymous with being bad at tech in the first place and can’t prep. Ironically, they zeroed in so hard on that part, they actually lowered the convenience. Case in point being what you stated: the app climate control vs the climate profile tied to your profile that changes when you get in the car. The thing that blows my mind is that you can learn all these things from simply using the car. This would infer that those who engineer the cars don’t own them. Or they live in southern Cali where there is zero variation in climate. In the end, I believe that it’s a feedback thing. And for all their inner-investment in “social-engineering”, It is highly EDUCATIONAL to see that how to go about feedback needs to be understood more for our own ventures. 

Here because I have the same problem. You aren’t crazy. These people are degenerates who, like the rest of Reddit, are not able to deal with any sort of criticism alongside the fact that anything Tesla forum is usually controlled by Tesla-social-engineered moderation(aka controlled/advertisement). The evidence btw is that for being “technical savvy and empathetic”, no one bothers to to acknowledge your feelings that it’s common sense that it’s an extremely basic feature for any other app that once you set it, it shouldn’t change. In the morning when it’s cold, I have no choice but to keep it on 78 or the car can’t keep up with “that feeling” of heat humans prefer in the cold. And then change it to 67 in the middle of the day. There is no “one setting” in the middle. Reality proves so. I guarantee there is more to auto-hvac and the science then what they pretend to be an expert in as unlike a home, a car has barely any insulation. I also suspect it has to do with energy-efficiency since it’s a priority that the stats look good on paper and HVAC can be put on the driver

You sure it was that? I am having the same problem. Key board, mouse, controller. It all is the same problem. The game even recognizes when the controller disconnects, but once I skip the intro with the controller or keyboard it stops recognizing inputs

What worked for me:
1. Uninstall browser extension add-on 2. Uninstall IDM. 3. Reinstall IDM. 4. Reinstall Browser add-on
For those concerned about resuming downloads, at least for me, it saved my old paused downloads. I was 5 hours in in a 10 hour download when this happened. So after reinstalling everything, it simply asked me to update the download address by re downloading it again in the page they open up for you.

I was indeed considering this but member was definitely not 200 pounds or probably close tbh. :P Obviously I understand the principle you are saying and you aren’t saying 200 is the point where it starts. However, I previously had 2 people before that that were indeed chunkier and it even felt faster then. Just odd. But perception is perception so I will take your word for it as that feels like the best answer at the moment I was considering as well.

I am someone who is not okay with sub par testimonials. It MUST be the V8 cars and years that I am specifically looking at. Im not even a gear head. But as a happy 2020 M3P owner, I realized quickly enough that while your mustang may not be the one that ends up being worth it to keep….there is definitely a ICE vehicle out there that is a significantly better weekend car. And maybe that IS your current mustang? For that reason, parting with it could be a mistake…..I can’t tell you. As someone who is pretty excited to still buy and own a weekend ICE vehicle down the road for its own strengths, It would be sad to find out it was enough and now a fully paid off car is gone.

This. This….is EXACTLY how I feel. You need a very significant ICE to find an equivalent and appreciate where the ICE is strong…..bare minimum as a weekend car. I own a 2020 M3P. Crazy fast. But I completely get the idea of recognizing and looking for the ICE vehicle that achieves ‘that’, what you say. I say now, though, and recognize it might honestly take a ICE vehicle that’s grossly expensive to do it for me to overcome the good a nice Tesla offers. But it definitely exists. Still planing to get a weekend ICE car for sure….but potentially much farther down the road.

I had the same experience!!!! So unusual. I had been flooring it from a roll by myself and it was pretty fast.

Then had a family member with me, so to not scare them, I floored it from a 15 roll rather than 0. It felt slooowwwwwww. I was so confused so I tried it more that day and it stayed sorta slow in rolls vs 0-60. So I gave up and decided maybe it was a bit cold out. Then next day, I decided to try again and it PUSHED me back in my seat from a roll. Same charge levels. Now I think 2020 M3P Tesla are temperamental???? Anybody know what’s going on?

Exactly. That's why Private and Government needs a hard reset in these areas.

My take? Depends on it's purpose. Do you remember when high-mileage "emergency" cars were $1,000 cash? In this manufactured-economy-problem we are having, $2,500 is the new $1,000 when it comes to used cars. Any car under $3,000 in this economy is a 'beater car' which is a emergency car(135,000 miles+) you would pour unnecessary money into use until would save for a more stable used car at like 80,000 miles, $7,000. facebook market is not a good place to buy a car let alone a beater, depending on multiple factors.

Let them make the movie for people who care about the franchise then.
