Is the wedding in actual Palm Beach, like on the island? If so, this is nowhere near formal enough. You need a more structured, formal fabric and silhouette. I would avoid black in South Florida in general - I think you’ll stand out and not in a good way! You can still go for a minimalist look if the fabric and cut is sophisticated and high quality.

Consider looking at brands like Staud, Dessy, Reformation, Reiss, ALC. Saks often has great sales on gowns where you can score at very reasonable prices. Few Moda also has good options. Revolve may have some, too.

The study species breast milk, though, which is not the same as breastfeeding. Plenty of babies are fed only breast milk exclusively via bottle through mother pumping. I skimmed, but didn’t see the authors address this directly - so is it the breast milk or the act of nursing that is driving these results I wonder?

I find the wedding painters doing one big painting a bit tacky. But what is lovely to have is a watercolor painter who can do quick guest portraits and a few scene paintings with a looser look. And, she is not a psychologist and children aren’t diagnosed with psychopathy. The precursor would be oppositional defiant disorder, which I agree this adolescent should have been evaluated for. The article doesn’t mention a clear history of violence or harmful manipulative behavior, but access to that info with juveniles is often restricted. It does seem like something a social worker should take into consideration when determining foster placements. Our system is so broken and underfunded.

Agree to disagree! For a big budget formal wedding it would be a surprise to me. Fine to feel differently, though!

It would be a no for me, primarily because it will feel to guests as though you have prioritized aesthetic decisions over guest comfort. If I am a guest at a black tie / formal event and sitting on a school bus and then get off to a ceremony with amazing floral displays, it feels like I’m an afterthought compared to pictures. In my experience guests remember how you make them feel at a wedding!

Agreed. We also painted our nursery yellow and I wanted it buttery but cheerful (and not in the wheat/tan family). Did a custom mix of Benjamin Moore with 75% Birdhouse and 25% Swiss Coffee and it’s perfect!

FYI, postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, and postpartum psychosis are distinct diagnoses and experiences! PPD is the most well-known and diagnosed, and is a pretty common experience. Postpartum psychosis is quite rare and is the main diagnosis of discussion in this criminal case.
