Line go up: layoffs; Line go down: layoffs.

I'm playing Reaper and my spells just do not compete well with Draining Strikes.

Unholy Champion (or simply Fighter) w/ Necromancer Dedication for Osteoarmaments and Draining Strike.

It is. However, it still must be understood that he's one radicalising experience away from going rowling on us.

Rossman is just an alt-right guy, who's getting disappointed in capitalism without getting hateful, somehow.
Which is miles better than the raving fascist crowd that is doing both.
Kalashtiiry
Doing god's work reposting it so that I don't have to read the actual shit.
Kalashtiiry
That's what I'm saying: there will be a pressure to make them worhtwhile to buy by making them stronger.
Kalashtiiry
Goodness...
Kalashtiiry
Oh god.
Kalashtiiry
Yeah, exactly what I was asking about; thank you.
The main issue is that the game will have paid class[es] that ought to be worth the cash, which will, inevitably, influence balance.

Isbrand used claws, for the most part, and manhandled Amrus' sword, but hadn't bothered to hold onto it.
Bakir uses claws, Xanthe - magic, and Brencis aura-farms.
Kalashtiiry
Nothing, it just shows up when Coen becomes a Dawnwalker. Keep in mind that Neberu has the same eye colours, but in swapped eyes.
Kalashtiiry
what do these do???
They heal your karma so that you can have more good luck in dodging further blows.
Kalashtiiry
You've lucked into a colder patch of lava, idk.
Kalashtiiry
And, quite notably, you'll end up with the best people not being paid enough to deal with this shit. For a year or two, while they look for an off-ramp, refinince their mortgage, find another visa provider, or elsewise get their affairs in order - yeah. After that, they're gone and want you fucked with a hot poker.
Kalashtiiry
You're saying it's bad because of X.
I'm saying that even if X was good, it would still be bad.
Wtf.

If you're playing a wizard and roll godly on stats, including HP, you still die (not drop, die) to a single nat20 and most results from the damage roll. Or, to a nat19 followed by 12 damage, which a two-handing fighter can just roll.
Kalashtiiry
I'm saying that the primary (main) reason for the OSR games' high lethality weren't low/inconsistent stats, but low/inconsistent HP.
Kalashtiiry
I'm just using movement buttons for directions of blocks and dodges and mostly move by dodging, attacking, or using abilities (shadowstep a big one).
Kalashtiiry
You can mod it, thankfully.
Kalashtiiry
Not necessarily that: a wizard will have 1d4 HP; even with 16 Con it's at most 7 HP. And yes, damage of weapons is 1dX+Str: for instance, bardiche deals 2d4+Str.
You can say that barbarian has 1d12 HP. Yes, which can come up as 1.

The problem is not with Crake, but with how his questline is done: it is the first lead you have leaving Laslea and the only one that is level-appropriate (Anca's is orange skull and far af); you do the mill, the fort, save Sarah; and then "whatever I say you won't believe me" feels like if you did more, you'd have some way to skip the "work yourself up and go to Svartrau", so you might want to progress the court, kill a boyar or two - and even if you get to infamy 4 you still get told to go to Svartrau, which, at this point, feels like a waste and also makes the whole interaction make very little sense.
Kalashtiiry
I've not even started the manumits plotline and I'm quite not sure if I ever will - what with the game design of Sarah and Crake introduction being so shit.
Corona tried to wipe us for a reason...
