Don’t worry; it gets better

Kilometer10

Not impressed

My wife had abdominal surgery yesterday in Norway. The bill? NOK 75,-

Yes. Acknowledging a ‘higher power’ is literally what religion is. AA is not referring to natural disasters, car crashes or gravity here, and I suspect you know that.

Kilometer10

«All you have to do is acknowledge there is a power/force beyond your own will.” So, literally religious then?

Kilometer10

Not if you’re a Russian asset

This is it. Another layer to the whole thing is that it will be a movie, and not a series. This means that a lot of the character development is at risk of being cut also, so people are concerned that the end result will be a short, watered-down and sanitized version of the book, much like how Enders Game ended up.

Kilometer10

Because they are afraid that the source material will have to be altered in order to appeal to a younger (PG-13) audience, and therefore be less graphic, brutal and ‘adult themed’.

Another layer of this is that a movie will have to cut potentially a lot of the story from the book.

So in sum, people are concerned that we’ll end up with a short, watered-down and sanitized version of the books.

I tend to feel the same really. I hope I’m wrong though and we get three (or more) films at the level of Villeneuve’s Dune, but my expectations are (to put it diplomaticly) low.

Shooting range parallel to an obstacle course. Facinating concept!

Slithering?

Kilometer10

Kilometer10

You mean disrupt an election again?

Kilometer10

Kilometer10

I know; that’s the realest part of the whole video

Kilometer10

Oh, I do declare that keeping the word ‘hitherto’ in one’s vocabulary can at times be most satisfying; even pretentious. Two for two!

Kilometer10

Not skill, but a combination of risk taking and some luck

Kilometer10

What Rolex is that?

Kilometer10

Nips out!

Kilometer10

Miscast? You know it’s a documentary right? Or are you just pulling our legs?

Kilometer10

People pay a lot of money to be at concerts. How about just letting them record their little memories, even if the videos look like crap?

MMW: Putin is pulling the strings here. It’s straight out of his divide and conquer playbook

Why you pay consultants:

Mgnt if things go well: We did it!

Mgnt if things go wrong: It was the consultants’ idea!
